Who ever wrote the poem that goes

“Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But words Could never
Hurt me”

Must have had a good life because for me
The poem goes

“Sticks and stones
May leave a few
Bruises on my bones
But words can cut into
Me like a knife.
I’m just like a mirror
I tell it to you straight
But I’m fragile
And easy to break.
The sticks and stones that you throw at me
Just toughen my skin
But with a shiny knife
You can get in.
My heart is see through
That’s just how it’s made
But I warn you
My heart is not the shatter-proof kind
So I would like it if
You kept your sticks and stones to yourself
And all of you shiny knives away.”
Another way that makes me like a mirror is if you break me I give you seven years of bad luck.

I am stuck in this body that I do not have control over
in this body that I do not have any clue what to do with

most would say their bones ache from travelling all day
my bones ache from not moving from my bed for 24 hours straight

trying to grab something from the other side of my room
without getting up

not even fearing the fall.

Grabbing fat that isn’t there,
Dulling eyes
And thinning hair

Peeling skin and bones that ache
Drying mouth
And “bathroom breaks”

Waking up to stomach rumbles
Stagnant breath
And steps that tumble

Dreams of food and calories
Diet pills
And longer sleeves

Endless nights and skin that chills
Never eating
To feed what kills

Being skinny has the price
Of six feet down
And three feet wide
I wrote this when I was 12

Digging out the history
he created a new story
which suited his creativity
used all the evidence
to his benefit
to get the required popularity
praises for his credibility
and no rings and bones
are opposing it.

what sound do you make
when your bones hit the floor?
heavy like the noise
of a slamming door.
light as a bird, bones do sound
soft as whispered words.

when they are ripped
from your body, a little,
you’ll look pretty and brittle
and breakable; little china doll,
I advise you not to fall.

tapping on bones, like sticks,
little drummer boys
make a war cry noise.
the battlefield is invisible
until it’s not, and your skin prickles.

fingers, bony spiders, crawl
hurting, tearing it all.
barren like a desert
the bones do seem
bleached and white,
like a mother that weeps.

gravestone bones like little dancers.
strong as milk, shatter army advances
in you; they sabotage you,
then they try to break through
and crack and bend.
they’ll be out!
they’ll be much better then-

but your body, made of jelly
misses the commensalism.
bones, they create a schism
between mind and body.
they’re ever so naughty.

Broken bones just being set, beginning to mend as I left home
Still getting to know the new parts of me, adjusting to, plates and screws holding on, bones still feel loose, cracked and used from all the distant memories and vast views cast from the rear view, pay attention now because this is your healing, these feelings are stitches in skin, patience, feeling the thread pull you together from within, wait now for there’s is no room for wearing thin

From the cranium
to the metatarsals.
I dare you to be careful.
Or drown me in ******.

He went from the femur
upwards my symphysis *****.
Looking beyond the cutis.
Or does he wish to view the pure.

Slightly touching with the phalanges
pressure building from the carpal.
Hiding the face under a parcel.
Or is the phase under changes.

Cramps in the tarsals
going up to the tibia.
For him it's a game of trivia.
Or is he fighting marshals.

He bites down into the clavicle
pain and pleasure going to the scapula.
He breaths vernacular.
He and I are flammable.

Bones to break.
What a piece of cake.

I am skin.
I am bones.

I am no one known.

I am ashes tricked with honey.
Flesh seeping with milk, but I will find a way.

I will learn to cry...
