Dear future,

Time and I aren’t friends
We aren’t lovers
Yet I can’t live without it
I’m always falling off an edge
I’m sure you are too
The clock ticks louder
Every time I look for you
You, the future.
You wait at every corner
I chase you
But can never catch up
I’m always stuck in the present
As I dream of you
Sometimes you keep me up at night
Because I’m thinking,
Tirelessly exhausted.
I let time break me piece by piece
As I chase after the stars
And stand under the shadow
Of your relentless timing
Waiting for you
Anticipating...

i crave so desperately your heart
in my hands,
beating as one with the pulse in my wrist,
you say no you cannot
that’s too much gore,
gory you say
you will not partake in,
so instead you offer
your days
to someone else who although
they ask for your heart as well,
you know you can resist
them
and me you cannot.

afraid to live,
afraid to sin,
afraid to drown
in a bottle of gin.

There are those who walk through life,
on eggshells.
And so, more than death, more than the sky, or the open ocean,
They fear
people.
Not the things they'll do or say,
but what they won't.
That they won't
love them.
That they won't
care for them.
And this, is a great historic tragedy my friends.
For at the feet of introversion,
lie a thousand friendships never made,
stories never told,
and lifetimes never lived.

I'm afraid I won't feel you
I'm afraid  I won't  touch you
I'm afraid I wont  look at myself
through your  eyes ,
in your eyes
clear blue peaceful mirrors
I'm afraid I won't be there no more
I'm afraid us is no more
Deep inside no more
Wondering eyes no more
Just pain indescribable pain...
Your eyes will turn to memory
I will be just a memory
And this life will be no more
