I see the moon is reflecting on the sun's work.
It's not glowing like it usually is.
The clouds shadow any shimmer that was.
Tomorrow is almost today.
Another dalliance from you, another heartbreak.
Maybe you'll stop one day.
Maybe you won't.

The temperature rises with the sun.
It leaves a sticky sweat in the air, uncomfortable.
An undeniable blinding at first glance.
Tomorrow is today.
Things haven't changed, except the people.
Circumstances remain, as isolated as could ever be.
You just don't have the effort to care anymore. For anyone. Not even yourself.

Your curvaceous body had me swayed ov'r the bed
to chase the dream, unseen
Salted warmth portrayed the tapestry 'pon life
& I went through the love-stream
to reach out to nowhere but to the doorway of your heart, I gleam
“The Desperation” lit the spark to beloved spirit;
Gratification drove us to lonely-Island
You belonged to firewall & your love supersonic
It's always been a pleasure to me...
to let your breast crush under my chest for the spark of having gratification, electric.

I sit down with you
So willing to hear
Caught up in your web
Just knowing you're near.
I catch myself often
Getting lost in your eyes
Put my hand to my chest
As my heartbeat multiplies.
I cling to each word
That you speak to me
And hold on like it was gold
Whatever the topic may be.
Speak all night and I'd still be sold
Talk about anything;
It would never get old.
I'd listen the whole while
And sincerely care
About what you say to me
I'm so thankful you're there.
The night reaches its end
We go our separate ways
But I'll be dreaming all night
About what you had to say.
Another teenage love affair. Silly, maybe, but honest.
He kissed me tight
Enough to know he could be mine
We mixed cheese with the wine
He glorified himself the whole night
And somewhere down the line
He started to cry...
I'm not sure why he fell apart
So I held his head close to my heart
I let him listen to the beat
Hoping it'll help him fall asleep
But he laid awake with his tears hitting the ground
No noise, his sniffling was the only sound
He tried to explain
Quickly, I stopped him from the detailed pain
I knew what was going on
But how was I supposed to go on
We sat in the silence
Letting out hearts reminisce
Laying on the floor were a pair of red heels
That's when it all began to feel real
I slowly tiptoed to the kitchen counter
And each second my heart pounded louder
I grabbed the biggest knife
Slightly holding it to my right side
He sat up staring me in my eyes
But I couldn't let him go, he's the love of my life
My hands got sweaty & knees grew weak
I raised my right hand & he started to shriek
Scream, screech, squeal
If I can't have him nobody will
His blood splattered all over me
But I kept stabbing until he couldn't ******* breathe
What did he expect,
I told him I love him to *death
Mother told me to get a man as soon as I could
Guess she thought I'd be "unlucky"
So when a man finally came along
I wanted to say
.....
Marry me, he says
It's MY finger
Love me, he says
It's MY feelings
**** me, he says
It's MY ******
Wear this, he says
It's MY body
Be mine, he says
I am MY own person
.....
However I succumbed and married him
Only to have 3 affairs
2 children
and the saddest life in the closet
never able to be my true self.
I should have said all along
No
Don't rush me
.....
I hope I never become this,
It is my biggest fear
Just thought I would share it with all of you

Bound by the worldly verity
I look up to you with woe
You comfort me at times
When friends have turned foe

My love affair with you
Isn't like the rest
Cos a night with you
Puts all else to test

Your love is pensive
Unpretentious and rich
Takes me to paradise
No questions, no hitch

And when I lose myself
You lure me again
To a dose too many
With that ignorance you feign.

I wake up in relic
In awe and in lust
I know not this world, but you
In alcohol I trust!!

For nothing says love, like the wilted rose.
Whose story not told without its prose.
The finger that holds the wedding ring.
If given in vain surely turns green.
Honestly it breaks my heart.
To watch her vows fall apart.
Does a healthy marriage truly exist?
Over the course of change can love persist?
A slanted affair just makes her look cheap.
As she holds on merely for the money to keep.
But all is fair in love and war.
Till the former's destroyed..
and there is no more.
