Soon our love will be over
Soon our love will end
There'll be laughing and kissing and making love
And giggling and playing until the shove

And when it all has ended
I'll still remember you, remember you

We keep going like we're the same
Pretending that we haven't changed
But we've grown up, and we've grown apart
You'll always have a place in my heart

And when it all has ended
I'll still remember you, remember you

Childhood crush became a summer fling
That turned into a long term thing
But we aren't kids with innocent smiles
I see the world when I look in you eyes

And when it all has ended
I'll still remember you, remember you

There's blankness in my eyes and pain in yours
I can't remember anymore
You can't forget, and it's eating you whole
These two kids are now two damaged souls

There is always a hope for everyone who believe in magic.
There is always a scratch of hope for everyone who can find the lights
There is always a way of getting hopes for everyone who pray to God
And,
There are always a thousand ways to get a hope to everyone who stands for Love.

Love is stronger than everything.
In love,
There's no anger, destruction, or destroyer.
Love is pure,
If you can keep it safe and sound.
Love gotta find you,
If you never forget how to find love too.
Love will always come to you,
Whenever you feel alone, sad, or depressed.
They always comfort you, no matter what.
If you keep believe in them,
And not destroy their pureness.
Love is not painful, love don't lie, and love doesn't betray.
It depends on how you get into
If you wanna get a good love, do a good life.
If you wanna live forever,
Find your hope in your love.
Not find the love just in case you got your muse.

The kids are always sick
It's our own fault isn't it
Because we're "weak"
we "have it better"
I guess our brains don't really matter
we "aren't really sick"
I'm so sick of it
Any thoughts, tips, opinions, and/or criticisms appreciated.
I saw a turtle
slow walking on the road
a child kept it
He  laid it in a field

I saw a fish
abandoned on the rocks by the sea
a child saved it
he left it in the waves

I saw a child
barefoot running in a field
a man  mutilated him
he hidden a mine underground

I saw a child
on the sidewalk with his bicycle
a man killed him
drunk driving

I saw a child
I saw his purity
I saw him become a man
I saw his disillusionment

is the age that changes everything ?
is the self-awareness that changes everything ?

it would be better a pure heart
compared with a mischievous mind?

maturity
is companion for strength selfishness ?
success
is it the natural evolution of opportunism ?

we grow up learning
but what is the lesson?

is it perhaps that the adults
have to learn the greatness from children ?

which  is
the true utopia ?
dreaming of becoming big
or dreaming to go small ?

Adults anger me.
They have no regard for anyone younger than them.
They push us around like we are worthless
Whatever though.
I don't have to respect those who have no respect for me. I can be nice but everyone has a breaking point.

I've stopped writing the way I used to,
because I've stopped feeling the way I used to.

I can't write the same,
my mind's changed quite a bit.
I've gotten much older, you see.
I'm the not the same I used to be.

People are not all kind, wandering, lost souls
as I once liked to believe.
Life was happier then,
innocent.

Rural dirt roads bring me quiet joy,
they remind me of my childhood
but they're not realistic, are they?

The world cannot be all beautiful trees
and unkept dirt roads.

We must advance.
We must get used to highways and airports and cities.

They world is growing,
7 billion people, is it?
The time of innocence is gone.

kids these days look like notebook paper
and those lines on their skin they never taper

kids these days don't seem to talk
and when they do people seem shocked

kids these days are treated like ****
and all they do is chew on their bubblegum

adults these days, they say they've worked so hard
but they didn't become what they said in the schoolyard

adults these days, they say that kids don't care
but they were the ones who taught us to swear

adults these days, they say we're snotty
but they're the ones who designed our technology

society these days is so backwards
we might have more mutual respect if we checked the records

kids these days may look like paper
but adults these days will just say you're a faker

kids these days may not talk
but adults these days criticise around the clock

kids these days may be treated like ****
but adults these days expect us to be someone

nothing about the world is ******* right
but I guess it's not left either.

Us kids need to thank our adults.
They've given us everything we have.
They've given us a body, and a voice along with it.
They've given us a home, and a bed to sleep in.
They've given us an education, and a degree to prove it.
Thank you for giving us everything.

But lets not forget the just as important things.
They've given us the war, and racism along with it.
They've given us gender roles, and the homophobia along with it.
They've given us gangs, and the violence that comes along with them.
They've given abuse, and the scars to prove it.
Thank you for everything you've given us.
But most of us wont listen, or care, we are changing this world.
But we couldn't have changed it without you,
So thank you for everything you've given us.
I am not trying to say that all adults are hurting my generation, my only purpose with this poem is to show that not everything in this world is designed for my generations success. My generation is taking the torch of many age old fights that my parents and parents-parents and their parents couldn't finish.  ):)

If I ask you what you think about who's in charge,
You say it's not my need to question,
To so quickly be the opposition of the one who
Fed us, clothed us, kept our home clean,
As well as kept locks on everything we'll need
In life to truly succeed. It's not to question.
When I ask you what you think of the score,
You say: "The fault lies in your hands, you are
The punk, (the riff-raff) the failure, the defeatist,"
The bold way men always do things, "*** 'er done!"
That's how it's meant to be, like a Ford commercial,
That and big tires, big guns, big on war, (big on
Everyone falling in line to be what society wants)

Very low on counter-destruction, love, solutions,
Being the key to our problems, communications,
On a small note doesn't seem to save anyone,
Can not solve any threat, and can't solve terrorism,
Hate, misery, and loneliness. From a long view, the "big"
Answer you give me, I still must confess, I disagree,
And big daddy tells us we can make change, in a world
Full of musty traditionalism, societies duality, he makes sure that
"Anyone can see" it's "always been possible for you and me."

“Boys will be boys,”
The bully’s parents said.
All that talk of discipline
Went over their heads.

The older boys at school
Gathered around the kid
With the glasses on his face;
Knocked them off his head.
Their words questioning
His manhood and his folks
And nobody paid attention
To the nature of the jokes.

“Boys will be boys,”
The principal said.
He washed his hands
Now one boy is dead.

They waited in an alley
Until the boy walked by
A place they knew for sure
No one would hear him cry.
They each one ***** him
Then one guy had a knife
After he killed the boy
He called him a lousy wife.

“Boys will be boys,”
The police officer said
Then used his baton
On the black kid’s head.

A black kid found the body
Of the white kid in the mud.
He brought the local cop, who
Thought him from the hood.
He beat up on the black kid
And took him to the jail.
Nobody knew about him, so
Nobody made his bail.

“Boys will be boys,”
The juvenile judge said
He closed the case
Went golfing instead.

There were no forensics,
No witnesses were sought.
No evidence of quality
Was asked for or brought.
The system had its criminal
And quickly put him away
And that’s where he is living
Until this very day.

“Boys will be boys,”
Never really worked
It only ever pointed out
That the speaker was a ****.
