All i can see is black and white
Tried to get up on my knees and fight
Searching for a ray of light
Before i completely lose my sight

All I know is that I keep on running
It was a long long road of dreaming
       But something inside my head
                        is screaming
That maybe I should stop hiding

I took another step and then
                   the light comes in
Maybe It's not too late for me begin
              I'll face every battle and
                     i'm sure i'll win
        Because althroughout, to Him,
                          I will lean.
There are times that we feel lost. We dont know ourselves. We keep on searching for things we dont know. Our world seems empty, no color, just black and white. That's the time we look up on Him. And He will show us the light. He'll give us courage to face anyone or anything :)

"Please don't leave me."

One of, no, the few truthful words that will softly & slowly pull your mind into ragged edges and creases, like a promise.

For, it is those silent words finally speaking aloud.

It is the confession that has etched onto the inner wrists,
all of those midnight,
                                         2am,          then
                                                                           11am thoughts.
I can breath.
Just slightly, sure, oxyegn does fill my cells. Perfectly. Carbon dioxides escapes through my raw lips. In & out, easy.

My heart works just fine.
It falters now and again.

My damp fingertips are intact, despite the tears.

My soul is not.

But, I still want you

                                       here.
Please?

I've been struggling to write.
My mind cannot quite decipher
what my heart feels.
Not all cracks in the pavement
have cultivated life along their destruction
so please bear with me
as I gather what is necessary
of words, and of love
to fill in the gaps inside.
meh
Sprinkles of golden dust frame those months.
Your delicate fingers.
Endless, strawberry kissed rainfall.
City lights drowned in a star tinted mist.
Cinnamon secrets.
Freedom soaring beside your wind tussled hair.
Honey flavoured kisses.
Sand powdered clothes and sun bleached love that faded too fast.
But that's just it:
It faded. And now there's nothing left.

Anorexia
is the most deadly mental disorder
and maybe that is why
I tell myself I am fat,
maybe the reason I cry
when I look in the mirror
is because there is
110 pounds
too much of me
95 pounds
too much of me
80 pounds
too much of me,
I will not be content
until there is no weight left to lose,
until this skin is turned cold
and falls off my body,
I will be
counting the ribs you can see
on my corpse.
I will make myself smaller
and smaller
and smaller
until there is nothing left
to take away.
Recovering from one thing only to acquire another. I feel I am predisposed to self-sufficient melancholy.
Horizons traced with trembling hands
breathe darkest depths aglow
bring pinkest rose to scarlet hues
all innocence be thrown
dew forming now on swollen bud
sweet nectar old as time
as shaking limbs cry out in bliss
to you, sweet love of mine.

Or....

Rut me, **** me, kiss me, **** me
take me on all fours
throw my back against the wall
then roll me on the floor
Abuse me, use me, wear me out
and make me scream your name
then have a swig of bedside beer
and do it all again.
This challenge was born of conversation, I prefer to write in a traditional style, so my buddy Ryan challenged me to write a traditional verse, with *** as it's theme followed by, as he put it, a translation. There ya go Ry! :-) x

i would never ask you to return to the hell that is my mind, but i can't help but resent you for leaving me alone in here.
I want to write poetry but all I can do is relive old memories and hope for unhopeful moments. How can I unteach the words you've taught me or unfeel the touch of your hands or unsee the flecks of light in your eyes or undo everything that once was between us? If I can learn how to make this happen maybe I could find a new muse.
Inner monologue talk. Don't mind me.
