her smile has a sharp edge,
like a knife through his chest.
and the cut's getting deeper
as he tries to get closer,

at an arm's length.

there's a chance of falling apart,
but instead he's falling in love.
the more she draws back,

to finally conquer her heart.

her laughter has no end,
like a sunset wrapped mist.
and the fog is getting thicker

Bitter sweet air fills my lungs with dignity and doubt all at once.
And although my head knows what needs to be done, the voice inside can no longer be contained.
It screams for a way out.

I can't explain to you my jealousy
of watching people laugh in a group
such genuine laugher i could cry

I can't remember having a purpose
of getting out of bed
to not cancel my plans last minute

This sounds painfully self-wallowing
