The art of eye contact

You know what I’m talking about

You know what both of us want

I smile at the look of you

I smile knowing the idea of you

I know what I do to you

And just look then smile

While I catch your eyes

your body weakens

Along mine

Just by the eye contact across the room

Knowing I’ll have you soon.

SomebodyProbably
Depression is the gateway drug

Because I'll try anything
Absolutely anything
To make this feeling stop

Him
His face
The sight brings a smile to yours
His eyes
You can stare into them forever
His lips
You wish you can kiss them
His hands
You wish you can intertwine them with yours
His mind
It intrigues you
His soul
You can love it for eternity
His heart
It doesn't belong to you

the very first time i looked up to the sky,
it was dark, and it was scary— still, i tried.
the world was so cruel, and my mind was in chaos
but someone told me, “it’ll be the most brilliant darkness in our eyes”

darkness has never felt this comforting before
so warm, it feels like home. so accepting it feels like a hug.
since then, i never took my eyes off darkness
because i know, it’ll be the most brilliant in our eyes.
someone told me darkness would be the most brilliant in our eyes :]

We are one like the trees
Grow with a tiny seed
Planted like the roots to grow
Watered and sowed
Taking time to age
Learning along the way
Broken branches
Tiny holes
Cracking at the seems
Yet growing stronger
Into a beautiful, loving tree

I am sure
That in this lifetime
Our bodies will unite
And we will bring this world to ash
It will be beautiful and destructive
As if the stars have fallen to the earth
And until then
I won't stop burning for you

I can love myself so much better
comparison steals my ability to see my beauty
I spend so much time loathing
I don’t know what to compare myself to anymore

someone asked,

“how can you be
so happy,

but still write poetry
like depression
is all you know?”

did it ever occur to you
that maybe

I’m only happy because
I took that depression
out on this paper,

instead of taking it
out on myself?

I've grown to love life
A bit more, each day
When the night comes
My hold on life shall slip away

It glides through the blades
And runs through the glade
The master of forest
And that of masquerade.

Regal and arcane
Slender grace, untamed
Of spring legs, of might roar
Of majesty is its saffron face.

As it comes near, as it goes away
Dancing through the verdant trees
Illusion, tricking, sneaky peeking
Spine-chilling are its traits.

Elusive and shy,
With mystical stripes,
Lord of the mountains,
The legendary feline.

Ever-deceiving,
Always fleeing,
Into the dark,
Hidden wild.
