my chest heaves and i ache to feel the blood pump through my veins. i feel as if i am withering away under the weight of the world. it is as if someone has cut me from the stem to decorate me in their vase, but how long can i stay bright red when you have hidden me from the sun and rain? my nails scratch the surface of my blue-tinged arms and i feel nothing. this has become a common theme: i feel nothing. it is, perhaps, better than feeling the longing for survival. or perhaps i'd rather feel the pain and the pulse. this is no longer a matter of the mind and the heart- this is a matter of life and death.
wilting away, withering away, wasting away.

Death befalls those ****** to wither
And as we are all flowers lacking that life inducing water
****** to death are we all

An integral trait
that protected and built
in her, withers.
Curses slowly slithers
off her tongue
leaving her soul stung,
for she swore never to say
on any day.

Reputation tarnished;
label faded;
mind polluted,
for she no longer felt demure
and pure.

Enticed by the modern world;
contamination injects,
mutating and leaving her
not able to recognize herself.
For now she stares in the
restroom mirror,
shedding tears
over her shedding skin.

please do not
bring me flowers
to represent your love

roses wither and die,
i hope your love will not

The sun shined upon the buds

and rain caused it to sprout.

It grew and grew

until it shot out.

The flower enjoyed each dip of rain

and every ray of sunshine.

Everything was well

until too much was out of line.

The sun became too hot at times

and rain came too much or too little.

The flower couldn't take it

and petals became brittle.

I was writing a song for the flowers
withering on top of the computer table
but like all things in nature,
the petals changed
into something grey and pure.
They die beautifully,
unlike us.
When we wither,
we do not fold into ourselves;
we do not look up to the sky,
but only avoid the light,
fold within our comforts
to hide and embrace the dark.
And so when love withers,
we let it die.
We are just human
after all.

I fell head over heels in love with my comely neighbor Bernadette
Without ever seeking consent of the noble soul, just think of it!
All those long passionate, purple prose crafted, burning midnight oil
My offerings for her, reposed in my imagination, till they withered!

I'm a withering flower
slowly deceasing,
turning black in the colour
in the winter, freezing.

It's going to be a jolly grand day
Nothing will get in the way
This life is boring
Time to go snoring
I'm done with 'noRmALitY'
And ready for a fatality
I buy a lot
No food for thought
I buy what I can find
Who cares if it's a crime?
I'm looking for airtime
This is out of hand...
As I take more and more sand

"I'm HUNGRY!"

OH, iT hAs HIt Me
