everyone associates the sound of silence with calm
the sound of silence can be terrifying
the sound of silence is not silent
the sound of silence is unbearable pain as those voices scream out in agony

“youre worthless”
“no one cares about you”
“you should just **** yourself”
“youre the ugliest thing ive ever seen”

the sound of silence
the sound of
the sound
the

the sound of i wish everything would just **shut up.

Don't say I didn't warn you.
You knew this day would come,
Sooner or later —
It was to happen eventually.
You made your choice,
and I can't do anything
but sit and watch you
Destroy yourself.
Silently.
You don't think I've noticed,
Oh, but Darling, I have.
You didn't fight
Like I told you.
So don't say I didn't warn you.

the thing about being sexually assaulted at a very young age
is that when you are older you will start to associate anything ****** with the first experience you ever had
but it won't feel like butterflies
it will feel like ten showers, not enough, scratching at your skin and vomiting to get any part of him that may still linger out of you even though so many years have passed
the thing is
people will laugh when you say your brother is a terrible person
and their laughter will taste like the bile that burns your throat after you've purged the thoughts away again
i have learned to crave deviant things because all tame actions have been tainted for me
do not touch me with those calloused fingertips,  they remind me too much of hiding in my closet and no one needs to know
dig your nails in instead
the thing is
he is legally "perpetrator," not my "******"
because when both parties are under 18 it's called "child on child ****** assault"
not ****
even though he groomed and manipulated me like any adult ****** would
and I didn't understand but he did
but he is not my ******
it doesn't feel that way
the thing is
i have now learned to fear calloused hands and large men and ****** hair when it's groomed a certain way
i have learned
that rapists come dressed in a smile and their girlfriends will say they're just like big teddy bears
i have learned
to  cry at the thought of pleasure because it feels wrong and grimy
i don't know if i will ever feel clean,
do not TOUCH me with those calloused fingertips, dig your nails in instead
it will feel like butterflies

Don't you see it coming?
Failure knocking at your front door
Making you one with the poor
Shutting off all hopes and determination
Continuing its cycle of worth termination
Don't you see it coming?

There's still some time, better act fast
After you read this, time has past
Hurry up, or suffer a lasting price
You lose, if you roll the dice

Maybe it's not too late
Maybe i can peacefully wait
I believe this is working
Hourglass exploded, this isn't working

Didn't you see it coming?
All corners guarded by broken dreams
People crying out with hellish screams
Friends, possessions, and worth, all seized
Just to make an angry god pleased
Didn't you see it coming?

You always preached
about burning bridges.
Voice laced with warning.
But here I stand.
A handful of matches
and gasoline.
With my chin held
high.
Ready to reduce you
to ash.

The year is 180 AD
                                 The year is 2016 CE
No one cares for the senators
                        Or the news
The wage gap is growing wider   The country frequently finds itself divided
Threats abound from both within
                                       And outside
              One thousand years
          Of technology and culture
                  Will be lost again
              for one thousand years
In the midst of a dark age
This is the end of Pax Romana
                       And, if we're not careful
The end of our own era
I find it erie how simmilar out modern world is to Rome right before the empire fell.
He cries in the night tears of pain
His heart filled with so much grief, he fears he might go insane.
He tries to see a way he can keep going on, but he tries in vain.
"Help me. I'm hurting." He desperately tries to explain.
But nobody hears him as he sobs in the rain.
Now he lays there, cold as ice, with his own hands slain.
Suicide awareness I always see females being depicted as having depression but I know males have it too.

or at least thats what i told myself
last night
when i locked myself in the bathroom
and refused to come out.

they talk about warning signs
and who's more prone to suicide
than the people who aren't.

"people with depression are more likely to **** themselves."

there are so many warning signs
but nobody cares to see them.
i guess this is a work in progress

At a distance, a harp begins to play
Mellifluous tunes attempting to capture the heart astray
Every single note pleasant to the ears
Every note reviving the comatose fears

Beautiful is the song as it is enchanting
Through agile fingers, a masterpiece in the making
But as the riveting sound cavorts the insipid walls
Dispelled memories return like raging falls

Strumming the strings equate a pronounced invitation
Melodic verses transmogrify into proposed elation
But the rhythm is alarmingly familiar
Whose end averts from the spectacular

The harps plays, the harp sings
Obnoxious bells produce clamorous rings
For the songs it sings are dulcet
But the notes may be disguised bayonettes

The comely harp will continue creating its art
A fragile bubble vulnerable to approaching darts
As the music invades every corner
May the north be an inexorable commander
