I. Cotton candy streaks painting an indigo sky
Behind streetlights, sitting on a red sidewalk curb,
Next to paper bags of thrifted clothes
With your best friend
Outside a coffee shop
Her laugh on the ride home
Your favorite song on the radio
And she remembers the way back to your house
Without having to ask for your address

II. Eyes closed and
Your heart beating a little bit too fast while
You hope no one notices the way your hands are shaking
As you clench your fingertips down rosewood frets to 9 gauge strings
And pray you hit the right note
The drums behind you to the tap of your foot
Where you can feel the bass from beneath the floor
And the voices singing along
And you think to yourself
that maybe its not magic
But its the closest thing by far

III. Walking what feels like way too far to go to a grocery store
Because there’s nothing to do after school
With your friends
And your backpacks are too heavy and
The road stains your socks because your shoes hurt too much
believe me when I say a gas station sign can look like the gates to heaven
Safeway chicken tenders and boba over bio homework
Sitting on a metal table and waiting for the world to pass by
Or at least until you can drive

you can feel the grass
throw your shoes off, roll up your sleeves, stretch your legs
we've been sitting for too long
you can feel the wind
rub your hands in your face, click your heals together
we've got a new spirit
you can feel the sidewalk
skip in the air, throw your hair up, let go of his hand
this is for the ladies

When the stars align

Every morning
Sun promises us
Of warmth

Moon comforts saying
Let it be

Turn off

Up in the sky
Moon was shivering
In the dark winter night

While offered her
The covering
Guess
What radiate in her eyes?

Shyness
A beautiful shy
Writing happened to me
Witnessing her glimpse of smile

Once lived in a heavenly planet
Forced me to jot down some memories
Of the most chilled vibes of mountains
To rejoice the feelings once more

Deep in the land of ice and snow
There surrounded the most steeped mountains though
With a river filled with chilled water
And some huge rocks on riverbed side

Air of there was free from pollution
And was so pure to breath well
That feels like fresh air gave a cheers to breeze
And that made our breath feel like a foggy smoke
All that seems like a heavenly place to live within

The shining golden sun peeping from mountain
With its dazzling rays of sunshine
On the dew drops of grassland
Bring crystal clear droplets all over the land

The chirping birds sang in its sweet rhythms
And all that lovely things
Made pleasant morning sights
Which made our heart warm
Even in the most freezing days

During the winter’s peak
Some years bring frosty snow
And that white snow layered all around
Like a dancing white peacock
Mesmerising a white peahen
To live in its snowy feathers
for life long

During the admiring spring seasons
The flower blossoms everywhere
With varieties of butterflies
And bees wandering here and there
In the most beautiful gardens
Like a daydream of a fairy tale

And the waterfall from mountains
Seems like a white snowy bird
Which flew down with its wings
To sit on the narrow stream of river
To enjoy the taste of fresh water
Makes an everlasting view of life

No wonder how the beauty of nature
Captured our lives so far
And being in love with this nature
Bring lots of loving memories

And that memories of mother nature
Can never fade with decades
Joy of those childhood days
Can never comeback

Nor the happiness among friends
Who are divided so far
Neither does the feeling of lived life
Can be enjoyed
Nor does it can be explained here
With few words

While in the land of blessed nature
There were some most painful part
Many of them lost their loved ones there
And the lost ones became a soul in the sands of riverbed

All that painful memories of loved ones
Became a mourning cry for many bleeding hearts
Which still cannot vanish like a nightmare

But one more chance if got in that heavenly land
Will not be enough to rejoice there
Which gave us the everlasting memories
Once lived in heavenly mountains and enjoyed its vibrant vibes made some everlasting memories in my life

And what if
I say
I know you
Without knowing you
Since ancient time

And what if
I say
I see more than just
You let
Through calming vibes

And what if
I believe
You are one of
The kind
Peace of mind

And what if
I say
What you mean to me
Beside the dreams
And the reality

And what if
There is more to say
Sincerely
Being a dreamer
When you are a dream

I was told
To observe
Not to intervene
To listen
Not to be vocal
To tolerate
Not to offend

I was told
What is holy?
What is unholy?
To seek light in the dark
And to stay rooted

I was told
To be kind next to
My space
My home
My nation
And practice act of forgiveness

I was told
When mind thinks wrong
Beware of self

I was told
All the above
And many more

Something wrong!
Never did they tell
How long?
I have to stay numb
Or hold the belief
That shadow is me

Tell me

Every time
They will ask
Who you are?

There is more
YOU
Behind
Who you are not

They just want
To know
The superficial

As deep as
What they are
