It was like dousing myself in gasoline
and waiting for sparks to fall from our lips
anticipating the moment our bodies reached such a high degree
our proximity glowed red.

Craving the spread of your feelings
from limb to clambering limb
flames leaping from fingertips
and burning the places I falsely called love.

But I eat your ash with a smile
fan the cinders still presiding in my heart
with your brimming words;
ignore the fact I'm still cold
and it looks like you're running out of matches.

you said you're a man of your words..
but your words wasn't man enough..
I just want to rip my prof's head, game of thrones style. He's the epitome of unfairness.

Few days back, returned from a marriage
With my katz-en-jam-mer-ed bud, in a typical Himachli carriage
Half the journey, I was accompanied by
After parting ways at station, we bid each other bye

Continuing thereafter, the journey, I went into a slumber dim
Unaware, that the signal went out from my SIM
Someone, looking about 25, sat into my lateral sight
Looking sober, he asked about a familiar site

Involving his step family, he told me his unfair tale
Hearing upon which, I let pity sail
Somethings do happen for worse, told myself
Nothing remains forever, he added words on my shelf

This poem describes a short meeting with an unknown person with really bad and troubled situation. He explained me with his situation, that was really painful to hear. This poem follows a a b b rhyme scheme.
Wonderland by day
Wasteland by night

Hospitable under the sun
Hostile under the moon

Flourishing in the light
Destructive in the dark

Heaven for the accompanied
Hell for the alone

I was born on the bright side
Now I live on the dark side

But not for long
I'm going back
This poem pretty much sums up my experience living alone in Stockton-on-Tees for almost two years. Makes me all the more glad that I'll be moving down to Eastleigh this summer.

Day Mar 2015
for you,
suddenly the idea of how different we are sunk in too quick.
you're the moon and i'm the sun and we're
playing a game of tag around a roadblock that
moves around us, so there is no escaping-
this is my life and this is yours,
but i'd spend every night ignoring it
in the palm of your hand.
i'm ready to take endless drives
during light-less skies, cancer
burning between our lips,
tension melted away as you race the speedometer,
your hand tapping my knee to the off-beat of a
song i want you to love as much as
i do, because you're too scared
to hold my hand-
i would, i would,
please let me.

.. you say we can't.
and i want to climb back but
i already fell and
there are no ladders between
space and gravity.

It is not fair to
Me that good people die and
That bad people live.
This makes no sense to me. People like Rich Mullins die in car crashes-good people. People who are christians, and who love others, and who plan their whole lives around Christ and what he wants. And then people like Amy Grant-terrible people. People who lie about who they really are, and their love for Jesus, people who make the lives of people like Rich hell.
How is this fair?
I don't think it is.

Aida, Aida, I'm not yet done.
Have you heard that I do not run?
I never ran away from my fears.
For you, I will never shed a tear.

Aida, Aida, did I get your attention?
She was lying to get your appreciation.
I never imagined you'd never figure out
A lie that screamed "I'm a lie!" out loud.

Aida, Aida, can you hear me now?
When you leave, I won't give a bow.
Unlike Boo who treated us well,
Even if he just smiled, that's all I can tell.

Aida, Aida, do you not understand?
You can't tell us where we should land.
Give us the freedom to explore our path,
for you to earn our respect, not wrath.

Aida, Aida, I'm no hater of yours.
I understand where you're coming, my words aren't forced.
You want us to reach the stars instantly.
But it doesn't work like that. No. Not that quickly.

Aida, why do you look down at us?
Aida, why do you think we're nothing?
Aida, I will never let this pass.
Aida, I won't let this keep on happening.
I just needed to vent now that I know the truth. I needed to let the world know that you are a ******* *******.  I wanted to shout that you are unfair.  Why do you look down at us?  Why do you treat the others well?  Why are you so unfair?

Dim
The worrisome grin was long before gone
Her eyes were over her head at dawn
The light was alive in belief she'd love him

it was true her eyes saw a light ....
Love-It was for the first time, she felt him
But the dark came and midnight arose
She was the only one to blame

She was blinded by noise
Captured by fear, the dark would never leave

She was to afraid
The ring was left by his door in the morning dusk so dim
She would've loved him
what? Im feeling love, but I don't know where I love. Im lost in my heart and my head, but I can feel like something good will come, soon.

He could have crushed it if he'd liked
That squirming thing in between his fingers
Tiny black Bulbous eyes, staring up at him
trying in a panic to speak without words
Arrange some kind of bargain for its life

Yellow Lilac tinted wings
Perfectly symmetrical, pulsated with fear
Taking the left one first, he tore at each end untill hearing the tiny snap
Then the next one
turning to sick crumbling dust blended into the mud

A thin black strip of a thing in the dirt
If life was fair, it could have been stood on
But was not granted such dignity
He would leave it for the sun or the  buzzards
An eye for an eye, after all
