Feelings that were once lost
Knocking again at my door
Indeed a risk I crossed
But missing an opportunity, I abhor

Felt like I was in cloud nine
Not caring about anything
But the moment I blinked appeared a vine
That pulled me away from everything

Darkness everywhere nothing I see
The place reeks of despair and pain
The farther I was pulled the more it desecrates me
It never stopped, my sanity slain

He filled my mind and invade my heart unintentionally...
entered my world, became the source of my own smile
but turns out to be the reason that ends my fantasy

I didn't plan on loving you,
Yet i did.
And i feel so lost without you here.

I found myself
hunting the truth
but finding the
unexpected.
I found what my
senses
couldn't show me.
I found the truth
that relays silently,
in the unknown.

I did not make this!

People thought it only existed in fairy tales.
She found it cliché.
He brushed off the very thought of it.
But then it happened.
They happened.
We happened.
And we never expected it.

feathers floating in the breeze
softly touch across my face
tendrils extending gently
leaving paths I can't erase

I ask them please
just leave me be
or only stay a time

but then they rest
upon my chest
I feel their weight inside

My life has already far exceeded my expectations
Not in the sense I’ve done all I set out to do
Or accomplished all my wildest dreams
But in the sense it’s lasted longer
Than the storybooks said it would
And beyond the point I understood
And now I’ve all this time on my hands
And lists of things to fulfill
But most of them tedious, boring
Or not really worth my time
Not exactly what my childhood dreams projected
My life has become something unexpected

I will speak for you
If you ask me to.
If we try,
There's no dark inside.

But to gain the view
That you want, anew,
You must lay
All your fears aside.

All the worlds you're through,
All the lies so true,
All that's left
Is the great divide.
Where do you think I found this? Yup--on the back of my notebook.
Somehow I already know
how it ends,
even before it begins.
Call it some type of
clairvoyance.

But you were unexpected;
you weren't part of the plan.

I chased you from the
comfort of the only path I knew,
and now all that I know
is how lost I'd be
without you.

My nana told me
in a letter she once wrote:

friends
come into
your life when
they're needed
most.

they stay
for weeks, months
years even. And go
when both of you have
given each other all
that you can.

So not to
cry when those
you thought would
be with you forever
walk out that door
and move on

For if the day comes
when you need each other
again, your paths will
cross and repeat
