we walk at a slow  pace
along the  beach
yet hands held tight;
the night breeze playfully
brings her open hair
across her face
and i watch her
while she pushes them back
behind her ear.
and we keep walking
with bare feet
and leave our footprints
on the damp sand.
she looks back for a moment
and whispers, "we've come a long way..."
"together", i add.

the shades of the moonlight
on the sea, is beautiful!

i so thank the hands that crafted
the masterpiece that is you
and the red strings of fate
that has brought us together

"How did you know where to find me?" She whispered, her voice
cracking under her tears.

"I followed the maps you left in my heart, and I let my feet carry me to you, because I belong to you the way the stars belong in the sky." He said, holding her.

She nodded and more tears rolled off her chin.

"My darling, our stars, the very stars inside of us, go together like the sun and the moon. And I want nothing more than to be by your side, always."

In this moment, she knew she could never again wander away from his embrace.

Love was a feral creature,
Something to be avoided,
