Would it help me?
Would it change me?
Would I overthink my life and my decisions?
Would my life be the same?
Would I still live in the now or would I just think of tomorrow?

I don’t know what I would do!

But I know what I am doing today!

Living in the now!

Today is such a difficult word.

For some people today describes the future.
For some people today is the present.
And for some people today represents the future.

Things could have already happened today, today you might laugh at this moment and today you might fall in love.

Today is not easy to describe and it represents so much.

This today is grey and rainy
and feels painfully like a word
meaning neither yesterday nor tomorrow

And though reason dictates
it will be one soon enough
I think it will be one of the forgettables
remembered only by this paper and these words

(and today, please, today
i need the reassurance that
i will not be the same)

I'm fighting against myself, falling into a deep dark hole I dug.

Yesterday I told myself I could do it.
Today I disprove it.

I'm crying for myself, trapped behind a wall of silence I built.

Yesterday I believed in love.
Today I leave.

I'm fleeing from myself, tripping over invisible strings I spun.

Yesterday I gathered hope.
Today I throw it away.
One day
some day
soon
all of this
will
and
is about to
come to an end

Let it

Until then live every moment
and love today

Today is the day I rebel
Against everything
I've ever known and felt

Today is the day I cut off
My feelings from my head
So they don't interfere

But maybe I wanna wait
Till tomorrow,
So I can say bye.

my hometown has a straight edge,
obedient new kid vibe -
one that other cities hate.
yet it resides in my heart,
its memories forming
the shape of who I am today.
