I'm in a constant reverie,
Morosely contemplating the glistening, vivid sky
that contrasts with the remnants of earth and vibrant, coloured flowers.

I turn my gaze to the sea,
Not far off, that seems to splash and crash
In sync with the swaying leaves.

I imagine if the body of water were a physical being,
It would be more powerful than I.
Every muscle, every cell, feels weak within me.
Although if I had to pick between the sea and the sky,
I would have to choose the sky.

I'd feel the wind forcibly blowing my face as I
fly with no responsibilities ahead of me.
I could finally be free from every thought,
Every 'checkpoint', individuals expect me to achieve.

Since it's not possible, I decide to feel the thrill at least
Instead, by jumping off this obscure building,
where Mother Nature is fighting to take over.

But as my feet leave the ground,
I realise, no fall will truly free me
Maybe freedom is found within.
As the sun goes down,
I find I'm staring with a frown.

I would be smiling wide,
If not for my lonesome,
All the tears the rain cried.

Though I guess it's just another human thing,
It's the lonely nights that make the moon spin round.
I know it's so
Where I am,
Snow and sun battle,
A gray war in the sky and lands.

There are three false springs,
Before winter is truly slain.
Hope rises from the rocky Earth,
Only to be drowned in the icy rain.
Once again claiming the soul of young spring,
So the elder winter may rise again.
Spring one has just begun.
You were like the moon to me,
Always far from my reach
Only to be adored by my sight.
Always hoped you for mine to be
Even prayed for you with all my might.

Always craved to get a glimpse of you
Always felt captivated by the light of you
Without you I felt like I lost my light
As you were the one to light my dark pit of sorrow

You made me want to reach the height
You were the one I didn’t want anyone to borrow
For you were the one without whom my sky felt hollow

I liked the phases you displayed
Even liked the spots you had
For they showed the beauty of being tainted
Just wanting to hold you made me glad
Yet beyond my reach
Only to be adored by my sight.
She was like the moon,
Far, far away.

This was the first poem I ever wrote.

A single raindrop falls from sky,
Mirroring the tear in my eye.
But even as it fades away,
It holds the sky within its sway.
I love, I love
Yes, I love to love
Like a genius in deep love
Like a fool in sick love
I love like no one ever loves
Like I love watching the doves
Drifting up and down in the sky
Below and above the clouds
Whether the weather is wet or dry
Below and far from the shrouds.

It is not a mistake to love
I don’t love just for Valentine
I love every single day and that’s fine
It is an incredible experience
Coming straight from above
Yet, there’s no obvious difference
Like a genius in sick love
Like a fool in deep love
I love, I love
Yes, I love to love.

My father curses at the men in charge,
He tells me they're driving the world into dust,
But doesn't he know,
That we're just not done for yet?

And whether or not they put Coke ads in the sky,
There will never come a day,
When we are too tired to fight for liberty.
I'm born to a new generation of fighters, those prepared to do what it takes to sculpt the world back to it's proper shape.

Moonlight softly glows,
are your eyes upon it too?
Hearts drift, unknowing.
