It is okay to make mistakes
We all cannot be the best
Every once in awhile
Humans need a little rest

Go ahead, take a break
I will wait right here for you
And then when you are ready
I will show you what love can do

Take your starting positions
Ready, get set, go
Do not wear yourself out too fast
It is okay to take it slow

See love is not a race
It takes a lot of patience and care
It takes two devoted people
One life that they now share
An old one

Walk into my shoes
To get some clues
About my blues
And my hues
Its so easy to boo
Without knowing who's Who

Me and You
We all belong to the same zoo
And I am even ready to pay your dues too
In return all I want is you to stay True
Oh did that sound like Deja-Vu
Still it is, was or will never be about me, but what 'WE' have been through

Put others before yourself, that has been my finding till now and I would
Because that is something I rarely see others doing while they easily could
A little bit of caring, a little bit of sharing can do wonders, ain't that what Stephen Hawking proved
I want to be better, I want to be ahead, ambitious, opportunist these are the words we now a days rely onto
But then why cannot we think that we can walk together and can still make it through
And oh! What an ineffable sight that be, when unconditionally you count one me and I count on you

We boast we brag about 'all mighty' things we do
Yet we don't realize we are missing 'Almighty's cue
There is plenty for all of us, given our 'Needs' we choose
We might win over each other, but nature oh that is where even humans need to look for Truce
What good are the nukes doing or billions being spent on them from decades leaves me amused
Why not divert it to education, nutrition, sustainability, short term long term what so ever that will do more good

Walk into my shoes
To get some clues
I will take care of my blues
I will share with you my hues
But please next time before you boo
Just know who is who.
whatever floats yer boat
paint a picture
sing a song
even write a note
just get out
and tell yer story
whatever floats yer boat

the message
is important
you could paint
it on a goat
just get out
and tell yer story
whatever floats yer boat

a writer sings
a painter paints
an author uses words
it's no good
unless the message
isn't seen or heard

keeping thoughts as secret
isn't good and here is why
because sharing brings them life
and otherwise they'll die

write a letter
do a play
or even bake a cake
the message
it is important
who cares what form it takes

say it loud
or scream it
even put it in a song
opinions
are for sharing
even if they're wrong

a writer sings
a painter paints
an author uses words
it's no good
unless the message
isn't seen or heard

keeping thoughts as secret
isn't good and here is why
because sharing brings them life
and otherwise they'll die

paint a picture
sing a song
even write a note
just get out
and tell yer story
whatever floats yer boat
now comes a vision
I see clear
the love we long for
has drawn near
the calling of our hearts we hear
it is our time

the darkness parts
so we may pass
the light we share
burns bright at last
the future now forgives the past
it is our time

and so our dream
now greets the Sun
the light that burned
in dreams is done
we walk in love
we walk as one
it is our time

Aside from your skin that is warm to touch,
There's so much to feel, when we share a laugh
You made me realize what this is-
Home; is where I want to be.
You wrote the notes inside your secret diary.
And day by day, the pages filled up.

You got yourself another set of blank pages.
And to this day, you keep writing more.

If you're writing
word for word for word,
what's the point if it isn't heard?

You're Hemingway in every right.
Give them lines.
Show them what your heart feels like.
Share them.
Wear them like your favorite long-sleeve.
Bare them like the nakedness
you feel when you're writing.

Again and again, you contemplate letting it out,
the secrets of your inner thoughts,
begging to be screamed.

You want the world to know what it feels like,
the boys, the toys, the heartbreaks, and the dreams.

Don't hide it.
Let it be seen.
Your success isn't by their acceptance;
success is being free.

If you're writing
word for word for word,
what's the point if it isn't heard?

You're Hemingway in every right.
Give them lines.
Show them what your heart feels like.
Share them.
Wear them like your favorite long-sleeve.
Bare them like the nakedness
you feel when you're writing.

Not everyone will love every wrinkle when you're sixty-three.
Maybe your rhymes aren't for them, but they're for me.
Share them.
I wanna hear them.
Let them roar.

The pages aren't blank.
You know you wrote them for more.

If you're writing
word for word for word,
what's the point if it isn't heard?

You're Hemingway in every right.
Give them lines.
Show them what your heart feels like.
Share them.
Wear them like your favorite long-sleeve.
Bare them like the nakedness
you feel when you're writing.

sing me a story
sing me a song
sing me old country
it's where I belong
so sing me a story
and I'll come along
sing me a story
an old country song

Are the lights still out in Georgia?
Is the man in black in jail?
How are things in old El Paso?
Sing a song and tell a tale

Did the devil win his fiddle?
How's the Harper Valley PTA?
Did they ever stop that convoy?
Is he loving her today?

sing me a story
sing me a song
sing me old country
it's where I belong
so sing me a story
and I'll come along
sing me a story
an old country song

Is there a red headed stranger?
What went off that bridge in June?
Did the gambler ever fold them?
What was howling at the moon?

Is Donna Fargo still that happy?
Do you smell whiskey in the air?
Is the circle still unbroken?
Is there an angel hiding there?

sing me a story
sing me a song
sing me old country
it's where I belong
so sing me a story
and I'll come along
sing me a story
an old country song

Alas, Mr. Seagull was more than enjoying his meal
each sweet bite, each tender morsel
He was in what they call "Food Heaven"

When along came a a Raven in a black dress
At his breakfast table, she smiled
Then softly cooed, "May I have a bite?"

Mr. Seagull never responded to her charms,
And so with a daring plan  she waited
until Mr. Seagull took another big bite

Then quickly before Mr. Seagull could blink
Raven left with food in beak, away she flew
Into the  far yonder's wild, wild blue
