On the surface of her eyes,
An algal pool in full bloom.
He wades in with his lashes, caught,
Stumbles around in the fishing nets
Soaked to the knee.

The place in which the oxygen should be
Is choked up now, perplexed, verdant,
A floating city of jealous skirts
Buffeted by a harsh March wind...

And further down, he has her pinned
Tracing paths in shallow waters
Close yet distant to seashell ears
Roughening the lilypad surface
With a single feather.

Through algal bloom, she wonders whether
He'll bother wading down to meet
The covert Atlantis beneath his feet.
the sailor dips his fingers in and decides he's explored the depths

open shirts
v-necks
chest hair and lifted *******
clinking of whiskey glasses
***** tonics and happy faces
a weekly dose of binge drinking
“How you liking the weather?”-s
or maybe something deeper
the taste of bitters
no body odors because nobody communicates anymore
****** and score sellers outside ignored
a core of warmth in a cold city
self-pity or lacking any
introverted synchronicity or simply just *******
something to poke a hole in the monotonous
next morning crusted tear ducts and pounding heads
six more days left
to good health and all the best

The water edge laps at my feet.
I cannot imagine the depth of its reach,
Nor can I fathom the whole body ****** out before the horizon.

There is something alluring about the freshness of it all.
Caress against my thighs, the wetness
Wrapping around my limbs.

Let me mingle,
With your murky waters...
May I touch your bed?
Coarse at first until I mold it into my desire.

The airy hole keeps me afloat.
Please be patient, for my lack of it is withholding me.
Benign ache lingers, that needs to dissolve...

Seeking only the shallow end for now, where the warmth can never leave.
I may drown if I go further...
A chance of worth do you see?

she was the sun
and the moon
simultaneously

when she entered the room
the rays of her smile radiated
and warmed the skin of everyone
in her proximity

she resembled a light summer breeze
that made the curtains dance when
the windows were left open

but she was more dynamic
than a simple ray of sun.

when she exits the room
and is left in the presence of herself
the shadows of her soul shake
like flowers after the first frost

she becomes an earthquake
as she goes to war with her mind

she was the best of the light
and the worst of the darkness

she lives as an eclipse.

She was like the shallowest part of the deepest ocean.
While,
He was like the deepest secrets of the shallowest hearts.

In the deep dark under
There be a blunder
Somewhere in that deep dark under

So I sit and ponder
And so I wonder
What is left to ponder

With the maple tree
I can clearly see
I sit and wonder where I be

You're like a shallow puddle,
But with every word that you say
You trick me into drowning.
Was doing my math homework and thought of it.

I AM RUDE .
I'm the rudest ******* you'll ever see.
The sailors and bus drivers, in all their glory,
aren't as half as rude as me.

I AM SARCASTIC,
I am not being sarcastic at all,
I mean you're doing sooo great figuring me out,
It's not painful to watch at all.

I AM INSANE,
The maddest horse in the senate,
Or was it the Caesar I cant remember,
I'm crazy **** it!

I AM SHALLOW,
If I had to spit or swallow,
I'd do both and say I had *** twice.
Just to feel nice.

I AM NOT A GOOD PERSON,
I am not a person at all,
I am a mirror of bad parenting
Lustful, petty and banal.
