I'm blown away by the serendipity of life and death.
You know when you get some ink on your skin
In memoriam of someone whose last breath
Was taken by the reaper; your barriers got broken-
Where am I going with this again?

I'm amazed by how the light circles the dark in intricate patterns
Like the way our eyes capture spectrums,
That the rest of the world can't even fathom.
I'm trying to express the way the universe comes together,
In alignment to where it's supposed to be.
Before chaos ensues and the ends fray and we lose grasp of the tethers
Holding us together.

Buttons couldn't describe you,
Nor a picture or portrait to compare.
Your smile indescribable,
Neath iron straightened golden hair.

A shadow in your eyes I see,
Your arm inscribed serendipity.
An unforgotten commodity,
An awe inspired oddity,
But what aspires you to me,
Is the winding way your eyes did see.

Before the corner first was turned,
Before the present came to be.
What was the sight which turned your way?
What overshadowed your luminosity?

I wish my friend that you would smile,
For everyone not just for me.
In light of this stay positive,
And smile miss serendipity.
For A Friend Who Needs To Smile More

Never thought it was real that
Unplanned things could happen in a best way
Remember all the moments we shared
Undeniable be forgotten
Looking back I realize, no matter how

Zigzag the road for our journey is
Unsure or not, Serendipity happen
Letting this friendship sail;
As we go on we encountered so many things that
I* wish I could explain and
Keep to cherish because for me you’re an
Angel, a blessing from God
I really really like the title that you gave my friend and let's keep in touch for a long time. Even though we share the same sky but miles apart, I know we are connected and that's for us to know. :)

i love the way we met
unbeknownst our paths aligned
and a mutual understanding was formed

it’s true that the best alliances are the ones
you never saw coming
i’m not quite sure what we are
perhaps just two people that chat

i really think we can be more than friends
you are someone
I would start a really small gang with
you can by my person
i’ll have your back

the pinch of daring I need
like tabasco and tequila chicken wings
beautiful in its unlikeliness

I was coming from a prayer meeting with my aunt, sister, niece and nephew.
The car stopped waiting for our gate to open up
I looked out of the window
I had to for I heard laughter
As I looked closer I noticed that he has dimples
Beautiful smile I immediately wanted to see more
He was with his friends, but I noticed him only
I decided to go to the shop
That's where they were standing
I just wanted him to greet me nothing more
Little did I know that he was checking me out
I bought credit then turned to head back into our yard
But someone blocked my way
Hahaha Dimples stood right in front of me
He took my hand and shook it
"You have beautiful eyes" he said
From that moment I liked him so much
Him holding me and complimenting me got him my digits
Serendipity is what caused our encounter
Now we are deeply in love with each other
Nothing can ever break us
I swear everytime I think of that day it feels as though I'm reading a scene from one of my favorite Novels
I didn't know where we would end, but now I do

We were misplaced and confused,
So, I bought a coffee, sat with a magazine,
But felt so antsy, I went to the Kiosk,
Inquiring about your flight,
Then went looking in the other places.
So many people started looking like you:
Their hair, shape and walk.
So many doppelgangers.
It was getting way too late, hours, in fact.
Now concern settles in,
But seconds make the difference,
Not some butterfly in China.
If I'd lingered, sipping,
I wouldn't have walked right into your tears
Around the corner.
I happened to have a tissue in my pocket
To dry your found eyes;
Now let's get the **** outa here!
"ACQUAINT"
Met, but noticed not...

Gazed, yet unseen, unsure, blank...

True love has this charm.

"FIREWORKS"
Our darkness alight...

Under our skins, twisting seas...

Love is our new moon.

"INTO DEATH"
Voyages close-knit...

Knitted into the beyond...

Knit before we knew.
I really got into writing "Haiku Triplet" poems last year.

I'd decide on a topic, give each poem a title of its own, yet the overarching title would be the true purpose, what unifies them, a sort of story.

I don't know if anyone else has done that, but it felt really fun and original for me.

There's another one that I posted here, if you search through my poems, it's called "Turmoil..." and it is by far my favorite of my triplets.

My eyes unlatch and hollow bones come to life
Gravity presses me under
Carving my own space into this world
I wish it were that easy
I wish i could understand why a hellish sphere of flames drives people to insanity
Makes my skin glow, riveting down my spine to the intangible corners of my morality
Back to an eternal loneliness, just me and my silhouette
All my worries in harmony with reality
Lost at mind and found in thoughts
And forgotten in a grassy paradise where the only touch is thoughts left by others
buried and grown nipping at my legs
Yet this a serendipity
A serendipity to have something holding me back
Tearing the skin off my pale hands
Tangling my chances until they find me
Maybe another day
This poem is about sinking into your thoughts on a sunny day with nature

I must write!*
The transient words pass by my consciousness
like the piercing lights that take dull eyes aback
and linger for a few brief moments in the peripherals--
before disappearing back
into the heavens.

Curse these confounded ink-stained fingers;
your scribblings barely get the thoughts out in time,
and you do so with mortal wounds
of aches and cramps,
and god-forbid,
your pen runs out of ink!*

So you keep your tools sharp
and your stone tablets at hand,
for when transcendent light strikes again:

You will be not be caught off-guard
by serendipity.
