I am the captain in my mind
I am the captain of the world
I'm the captain of everything
I am the captain of this ring

I'm captain
captain
of the everything

I'm captain
captain
of the everything

I'm captain
captain
of the everything

I am the captain of my friends
I'm the captain of words
I'm the captain of darkness
I'm the captain of the stars

I'm captain
captain
of the everything

I'm captain
captain
of the everything

I'm captain
captain
of the everything

My love,
I saw you in the smile of the cheeky Sun,
When we met in the park.
I saw you in the glow of the charismatic moon,
When you asked me out.
I  saw you in the twinkle of the dazzling stars,
When you kissed me with passion.
I saw you in the lyrics of our favourite song when we had our first dance.
I saw you  in the cocoon of a caterpillar,
When you slept soundly beside me.
I saw you in the huge waves of the ocean,
When we made ecstatic  love,
I saw you in the flutter of the butterfly wings,
When you were agitated and worried.
I saw you in the ferocious roar of the lion when you ranted in anger.
I saw you in the tub of my favourite icecream,
Which you did not share.
I saw you in the halo of an angel,
When you showed love and kindness to grandmother.
I saw you in the sweet song of the lark when you mingled happily with  my family.
I saw you as a complete packet,
Someone I could spend my life with.
I saw you in a four hearts diamond ring,
When you proposed.
Last I saw you in the marriage vows,
Which you and I took.
For better or worse.

Someone help me
Help the world
These people, stop them
They're tearing it apart

Someone help me
Help the world
It's falling down
Can't you feel it

Someone help me
Help the world
The echos of a failure
Ring louder ev'ry day

Someone help me
Help the world
Nothing can stand if there's nothing holding it up.

Magic fairy rings
     Budding decomposed mater [sic]
Cincture dream seekers
Am I referring to tripping on shrooms or just the wife's tale of fairy rings granting wishes? Intentionally ambiguous as I like it being open to both interpretations. I don't know myself haha!

My wedding bands,
my three gold,
three strand
wedding bands
don't fit any more.

They remain unmoving
with no room for turning.
They don't hurt, they're just tight,
because they haven't grown with me
as they might have,
could have,
should have,
would have done
had I paid more attention
to the coming undone.

They remain,
but they don't fit anymore.
My three gold, three strand,
stuck-in-the-80s wedding bands
don't fit me anymore.
My mum asked 'doesn't that hurt?' as she held my hand and felt my ring finger.  More than I can say, I didn't answer.
an audacious
ring let
him open
their hearts
with brighter
days ahead
when these
fellows sing
round his
steeple again
to brazen
the world
that behind
a cherished
ring that
has him
sing today
A crowd of people
in her
apple pants
that quiver
such a
dance with
transformation a
pirouette if
a coup
pedagogically wire
my brain
formation with
elation only
my desire
flush hers
there a
time of
dating especial

I am the ring around your finger
No matter how much time will pass.
I will always remain.
A vow of trust that cements verbal thought.
A dream come true left imprinted on your finger.
To share truth.
The thoughts we both speak into existence.
I am the ring that reinforces the core from which you and I grow.
The diamond that forms through the pressure of dark times.
I am the band that continuously loops around your finger.
The promise of everlasting.
Through the good, through the bad.
The strength that nourishes us when we are weak.
The different parts of us we continue to meet.
This ring a symbol of how far we've come.
How far we've yet to go

A ring that was once hers
Has now become mine
You gifted it to her
She gifted it to me
To her its such a small insignificant thing
But to me it means the world and so to it, I cling

Its small and dainty
With a silver flower upon it
A small pink gem
Glistening from the center
Worn down by time
Its lost its bright glow
But till now I still wear it
Where ever i may go

Its quite odd and strange
that I love it so dearly
A bond of a ring
that wasn't destined to me
It was a promise
That sealed your love to her
Yet holding it now
I can only wish
It were meant for me

This small feeble thing
That no longer holds meaning
Shall remains in my possession
An insignificant ring
Idk where i was going with this one ahah
