I love you, immensely,
Intensely, you set free,
The best of luck, to lust and ****,
Nobody tries contesting

Everything that you see, I don't, can't believe
Let me see the best of me
Perhaps then I won't seem
U-g-ly

Im loyal, and trusting
Guidance is everything
For you I'd give anything
My heart my soul for a diamond ring!

For you are worth more than the stars
That twinkle in the broken glass
The shadows the voices the blood and the pain
I'd suffer it all for you to smile again...
To my dearest, with love...**
as the leaves fell
from the autumn boughs
he evoked to mind
their marriage vows

the golden maple's hues
reminded him of her wedding ring
it stood for something lasting
yet their love
perished
in the cooling
wind's
chill
which was for him
a
most
bitter
pill

the brown colours of November
tumbled into his empty heart
for his once loving wife
did take leave
his eyes
filled
with
tears
as the skies
clouded in grey
their union of love
on the autumn boughs
drifted
away

The diamond ring on my left hand
Sparkles when the light touches it;
And I didn’t think that anything
Could make me this happy.
But the diamonds glisten,
And in fact, I know happiness
Like I have never felt before.
It’s like my past with all is crazy troubles
Doesn’t even matter anymore.
There is only the future,
And no longer is that future only me.
Now that a simple diamond is resting with me
It feels as if nothing could be wrong in our world.

i hold the ring
worth its weight in water
a trinket of our love
pooled in my palms

i wonder
does the surface glimmer
the same for you
as it does for me?

would you savor
every last drop
and fall to the heat
pleading for more?

till death; for life
holistic & ripened

i am waiting
for this silly trinket to
solidify--

--but instead
watch as its glimmer
evaporates
into air

Sometimes I feel naive to the workings of love--whether I deserve to, or am able to, feel it/understand it, given my age. Recently I've thought about the possibility of marrying my partner later in life. However, I don't receive similar signals from them. This poem is alluding to the hypothetical result of proposal.

Unwanted
Song
I hate

Can't eat
Sing
Plead for a ring

Better sounds
Vibrations
Earthquake

Please!
he got stuck
chin ups

I found it.

My feeling for you.

For the silent calm of the snowstorm.

For the explosive silence of the thickets.

"Only know you love her when you let her go"

How about, "once your friend dates someone you thought you didn't like anymore and suddenly get really ******* jealous, even while you kiss your lover, maybe, just maybe you still like her."

It just doesn't have the same ring to it...

You were my high
Hiding behind clouds of smoke
You were my numb
When I didn't give
A ****

You were my gifted
When I had a million
Things to say

You were my tarnished
When brains ends
Worn out too thin

You were the ashes
i drank
When I could not think

You were my loss
My remorse
I laid covered in

A sudden fade
To turn white skies
Grey

A driven desire
To kiss air
And make fire

You were mine
And always will be

Ring, ring
off the wall it rang,
gabbing my attention.

Anxiety built
in a time before phones
announced called
I reached in breath.

My hunch was right
Oh its you
ghost from past
I heard,
begging for another chance.

My heart re-opened
as in off key he sang
our special song.

I gave him
another chance....
Once a unfaithful archoholic
always one.

Now, recording plays...

This probably isn't what they are called,
And I can't think of the elusive word,
But...I really like bike bells.

You know the ones!
The little diddlydoos on the handlebars of a ten-year-old's bike.
The ones that go
bbbBBBB
      RRRRRrrrrr
           iiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIII
                  NNNNnnnnnn
                       ggggggGGGGGG!

God, they're my favorite.

Because, you see...here's the thing:

When you were a ten-year-old,
Riding a bike to some friend's house your mom didn't approve of,
Did you ever bbBBrrIInnGG the bike bell on your bike when you were upset?

Of course not!

Bike bells are a child's way of telling the world,

"Guys! GUYS! I had a really good day!"

And it makes me happy to know some little kid is so joyful they can't help but bbBBrrRRiiIInnNNggGG all the way down the street.
