The "I" in Pride
Should fade and die
For what pride is there?
When I have my flag that I like to hide?

Ripped and torn from rainbow fusions
Mixed up in teenage emotional confusion
There is no "I" when it's a delusion
My past once apart of the movement

Pride will only cause the "I" fall
Into a mind set I thought I would never recall
Stand proud? Why? It's against His Law
This "I" can't stand in pride. I'm kneeling down instead of standing tall
As a Christian I have my own conviction and struggles. To each his own to what they do and choose for their life. God gave us free will. So if this doesn't apply to you then that's okay! But for me... It is a struggle  That annoys my brain... when it is no longer who I am. So now I'm fighting to remember that God has indeed created amazing Godly men.

If you are gay, please know that this is nothing against you. This is not  a hate poem to you. This is just a struggle heart ache poem that I deal with. I believe the bible is truth and what it says is right. but everyone has a choice...

When the rainbow shines bright
Leaving shadows on the water
I'll be there
I'll make you so much stronger

I will forever be there
in the darkest of nights
And in the bluest of days
To show you delights

We will always be one
Together you and I
Forever my sun
There to light up the sky
Don't leave.

A morning rainbow was on the horizon today
The desert was misting not too far away

The sun, as it does, was just coming up
Caught the mist with its beams with light un-corrupt

The colors were welcoming and oddly quite right
It's not often you see, such a sight in dawns light

It’s wonderful to see such vision with fresh eyes
It’s a reminder that life has ways to be wise

Take the sights and the sounds that make up your day
Be grateful, for the beauty, that's been put on display...

Some mornings nature has ways of being inspiring right away...
This is todays vision!

There were rainbow colors in the skies
=
She had clouds in her eyes
=
She saw things with colors no ones ever seen before
=
She had keys to every door.
=
All of them except for his heart
=
And it slowly tore her apart
=
It tore her to pieces
=
And now she is dreamless
=
And all of her colors are gone
old poem. it's... not very personal. but i liked it enough to post it. hope you do too. <3

I don’t really know where I fit
In the grand scheme of things
Nothing seems to be ‘it’
I’m not lesbian or straight
But I love in between
I don’t think I see gender
It just depends on your reality
I want to hold a woman
But I love holding onto my man
I guess I’m just curious
To understand how it feels
To love a familiar figure in my arms
To explore what that means
Because love is love
I guess someday I’ll find where mine lies
In the six colours of the rainbow
I’m sure it resides.

Meet mistress color.
She is your friend.
The Red Goddess signifies love.
The yellow optimism.
Green prosperity.
And purple peace.

Meet the male deity of color.
He is your friend.
The Brown deity teaches to ground.
Grey lets emotions flow.
Black invites silence
And orange anchors new dawn.

Meet your inner self
It is your friend
It mirrors endless possibilities
and carries dreams with rainbow light.

She painted peace over the wounded mouths twisted with lies, truths unspoken, love never claimed,
She brushed them with the pink of a newborn baby's lips

She painted peace over the hands that held weapons, fingers that had pulled triggers to **** or maul,
She scraped them green as the new shoots from blades of grass reborn in the Spring

She painted peace in the hearts of those women and men who held broken pieces filled with sadness, scarred with inner rage
She colored them red of the rose in full scent and full bloom

She painted peace on the eyes and bodies of children stripped away from their life force, their source of mother
She traced them the purest blue found in the color of water at dawn's first light

She painted peace in families torn and broken
She swept them with all the colors of the rainbow appearing just after the rain, when the light shines through with hope

She painted peace in the indigenous souls torn from their culture and land
She circled them the color of the green flash-
the flicker of pure green born after the sunsets, existing only for a second

She painted peace in the unborn and the born whose differences bring challenges to them and their families
She skimmed them with lavender fields blooming in the swirling winds, with the sounds of the bees buzzing in joy and abundance

She painted peace over the wounds, the carcasses of animals fallen in a frenzy of human greed and misunderstanding
She whisked them golden as the sun rising in its glory to begin a new day

She painted peace over the ghosts of the forests and their inhabitants
She rolled them the brightest yellow of the night sky--the first star rising-guiding us though the whispers of time steering us in the darkness

She painted peace in the waters, the rivers and oceans who were littered with the makings of man
She glided them silver to reflect the light that is always around

She painted peace on the earth and women--places torn open and stripped, laying barren, vulnerable.
She covered them the rich colors of terra cotta- freshly made pottery from hands who love creation

She painted the air, the unfiltered air, clogged, imbalanced
She flowed it clear, the color of innocence - when we look into the eyes of the newborn, and those just about to pass.

She painted it all,

And when the summer sun melted the colors and subjects, she molded the forms, colors, scent, textures and sounds into the shape of love as eternity.
She sang the sweetest birdsongs into the new day bringing in renewal

She painted peace into all of life.
Sometimes I cannot fix, forgive or forget, and so I can make art and learn to how to accept and evolve. I listened to the song Imagine by John Lennon, and this song, inspired me.

Brown Hair
Blonde Hair
Blue Hair
Green
Dye it every color of the rainbow
And some more in between
Honestly if I had a dollar for every color I've had my hair I'd have enough to dye it again

Your shadow is the
Rainbow
Which appears on every
Dark day
Is that even possible??
