my head against your chest
boom
boom
boom

I remember
thinking
that no
explosion
could
ever be
louder,
faster
or
more powerful
than
the sound
of your
heartbeat
when it
beats
for
me
// it is the sound I wish to wake up to every morning & fall asleep to every night //

I survive off Energy,
not negative vibes,
but Positive watts
it sustains my life force,
and uplifts me
to the highest of heights
high above the ceiling,
venturing pass the stratosphere,
until i find myself conversing with celestial beings,
the feeling of feeling,
leaves me open
to all manners of interpretation ,
We are who We are,
when you become vulnerable,
Emotions run ramped explosive like
The Birth of A Dwarf Star ,
anything outside the realm of good intentions ,
I back track , and revert to that of a hermit turtle incased in my shell,
NO ONE ALLOWED !
In the sanctum
not until i can tell the outsider means me no harm
They just want
my charismatic company
& electric charm
I'm just a battery that can hold it's own charge, Until it is time to share energies

I'M NOT JUST SOME NECKLACE
THAT YOU CAN JUST WEAR
WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT
I'M NOT JUST SOME FOOD
THAT YOU CAN JUST THROW AWAY
WHENEVER YOU'RE DONE
I AM MORE THAN THAT
I AM MORE THAN YOU'RE ASSUMPTIONS
I AM MORE THAN YOU'RE INSULTS
I AM MORE THAN YOU'RE BACKSTABBING
BECAUSE
I AM BETTER THAN YOU

For a creation was devised of the purest and simplest elements in life
When the calming and smooth sensation of water caressed your bones, it carved canals of strength along the way
Your skin crawled and crept past your defined chin to bind with its lover
and when the tendon reached the muscle, it fused in an unbreakable relationship
Baby, the sight of your eyes shatters the crystallization of the finest glass
And your voice pierces the night fog leaving a path for only you
The kindness of your heart poured into the rivers to feed oxygen to all of those who depended on it
Your body contains the same carbon that creates sparkling diamonds
The majority of the oxygen is the same element creating tornadoes, or when fused to hydrogen to make a hurricane
Do you see how powerful you are made?
Your soft lips are the same lips that can produce sound in an empty canyon
Your bones are the base of your embrace when you sweep me off my feet
That mind is the exact replica that discovered how to survive the times that were a bigger struggle than planned
Despite all of these acts, how simple or extravagant
You are the perfect arrangement of atoms that hold my hand when I am scared to carry on alone
And the same arrangement of atoms that pull me close and kiss my lips
One might say these actions, however small, have a stronger effect than any hurricane, or tornado, or diamond
For you are a creation devised of the purest and simplest elements in life
And you are completely mine

A broken heart is a dropped mirror against the bathroom floor
each shard scattering across the linoleum,
fragments reflecting the hidden parts
to something they thought they knew, oh so well.

The lining around the toilet really needs some hands on work--
behind it the sand dunes of the Arabian Desert.
Clumped up hair trying to mimic the humps of camels,
and a lone razor blade as frayed as
a lost wandered amongst the sand.

Wooden panels enriched with the holes of last times termites--
corners splayed with the webbings,
of those **** daddy long legs,
and a pincher bug trudging their way to a hole in the corner.

Picking up the pieces, was something to learn from.
This common room they thought they knew, oh so well,
actually had a hidden world just beneath their view.
Maybe the heart broke just like the mirror,
to open the mind to all the other things near by.
I wrote this poem for Sara Kay, since I saw that she was upset about something, due to most likely relationship/family things/maybe work.

He was the biggest shark in the ocean
He was the fastest fish in the swell
But then his eyes were opened
And he was just the greatest frog
In a very small well

She is a prayer made
by Gods when they have
lost their way. With words
leaking from her teeth,
and passion burning through
her throat, she spins my pain
between her fingers, like a
riot of thought. With blood
shot eyes, she watched the
world caress my darkest fears-
then with a slip of a limb-
embraced me and my shards
of bone. She is a mouth of silence
when you think you need speech.
Sheet music written on her
lower lip, she played the
tunes of my survival with a
quick flip of the tongue.
Words were spilt along a
bathroom floor, drowning us
in hope and tragedy.
Hands were sown together
by the fragments of
discarded scars. She swallowed
my fears and made me watch,
let them fester away on her lungs.
Told me that I will no longer
burn alone, that we are now one soul,
and we will die together. Now
my life rests comfortably
inside of her, warmed by
her veins and undying love.
She is a prayer made by Gods
when they have lost their way,
and she is my religion,
my savior, my friend.
