Chocolate eyes,
two distant planets
that hold a mystery more mystifying
than the furthest reaches of our galaxy.
My heart longs to
make the voyage
and make a home in your orbit,
but for now,
home is out of reach.

Our Āryāvärŧä is in danger,
Our home planet since eternity,
Now we must all perform an exodus.

A mass exodus wasn't something we planned,
It's an emergency as our planet disintegrates,
Our home has now endured a nuclear war.

The third orb in the Helios system supports life,
We must vacate this planet and go to that one,
We must, regretfully, forget our memories.

The planet currently houses primitive life,
We shall escape this unfortunate nuclear strife,
We need to utilize that planet for our own good.

The big C that kills us here,
It would not be there,
At least for the time being.

We shall go the Āryän speed,
Call the planet Přŧhvī now,
Since we need a Mother.

Goodbye, oh planet Āryāvärŧä,
You were the Hïnđū Māŧřä Bhūmï,
Now New Horizons we must choose.

Staying silent isn't an option
Rather it has became a habit for us,
The habit
That's letting blood , cries and greenhouse gases
To stain our world's beautiful canvas;
Let's raise our voices and let our actions speak for our world

The morning was blue.
Maybe it was the room.
A will to resume overcome by what looms.
A feeling.
It's no use, the sun knows we're fading.
Gasping.
And trading pain for distraction.
A bail out.

But beneath the cancerous commerce lives the unfelt,
the un-dealt with speculation: that my vessel is a flawed innovation;
that frightened children may have found a moment's passion
and left us with moods as fickle as fashion.
These tangled wires clash and blur the line
between my mind and fine,
So unless we redefine unrefined, life will continue in kind
as long as my time in this queue to resign.

Then, as my life hangs it’s warped canvas
on a world of new advancements
awakened in me: the chance it’s… just us.

A planet that's born afraid. Sold lemonade,
and not shown how it's made.
Crawling wave after wave, and gasping "be brave!"
If they saw us all frayed, with pounding hearts swaying to the drum of the wave.
If they saw it this way, maybe the brave would have stayed.

The morning was blue, but I heard it can change
We’re only human, after all—manmade.
Moulding and shaping a future to paint
Imagine what shades we could see if we wait.

This morning was blue, but the afternoon was purple.
A shade I have never seen.
Made me not want to blink, and I think you'd like it more.
The lore was true, it does get brighter than the morning that was blue.

Very few deserve to live long enough in peace
Aren't we all bandits in this god-forsaken place?
Under our feet, dormant evil sleep like a baby
Leaving is salvation, but we chose to **** ourselves
To know that we deserve reward is to gamble with death
How did we end up in this god-forsaken place?
Under the impression that this is an ordinary stroll
Now, we are stranded, lost, but still alive
To know and to move forward is to invite death
Even in the face of flora and fauna and trauma
Ready we are, guns blazing, we'll move forward

It really is a crazy world
I see it every day
No matter where I run to
I cannot get away

Right is not right
Wrong is not wrong
Life is too short
Yet the nights seem so long

Steadily fighting for breath
Choking on pouring rain
Frustrated with no way to deal
Bottling up sorrow and pain

I hide behind a careful mask
But its starting to wear thin
Revealing the frown underneath
The monster deep within

Barely recognize myself
Changed so many parts around
Most days it's all I can do
To not crumple to the ground

Every time I dare to leak a hope
It gets slashed out of the sky
After so many disappointments
I don't even try

I take the struggle for what it is
Forgive and then move on
And wait for happiness to arrive
Knowing it's too far gone

The wicked world keeps spinning
Turning in spite of its weight
I try not to give up on love
Its challenging when there's so much hate

Bitter but not yet beaten
Though I'm bent in a few places
Trying to write a better ending
Fill in the rest of the blank spaces

Though my eyes know endless misery
My heart continues beating still
Life may never get easier
But who knows? Maybe it will
