Battle weary soldier of metal and sword
Honour on the field
For what you fight gallantly for
Enemies fall below each blow,
They are enemies, but die with honour
Dying from the sword
From the bow,Pierced armour
Flesh no match for cold metal
As they die lying on the floor
Memories of home,
Mother,
Father,
Wife,
Son,
Daughter,
A last moment before cold steel
Ends this agony, life no more.
The battle field of the few living
But mostly dead,
The crows picking at flesh, eyeballs
Skin peeled animals well fed,
You are buried where you fell
No cross
No name
Just a fallen who went to war
Believed,
Followed,
Died for,
The battle for king and country
Against those who would invade
Take what is not there's from our land,
Ours is a fight to the death
We fight with
Lance,
Sword,
Horse,
Bow,
Our enemies this day will taste steel
Die far from there homeland
Be the fallen of no name,
Today we live or die in our kings glorious name.

Do you hate the way
     that our magnetized times
turn us all to metal shavings--
     push and pull--charged each
day to fill up negative space
with negative attraction?
Were you repulsed when polarities
                                          changed?

Or was that me?
     Flipping switches
                     switching sides
                                      siding
with pivot points showing, caught
with pants down?
"Be a man now!"
          While the female end
          of the port calls out,
          "Shipwreck! Shipwreck!
               All men down!"

Count me out at minus 4
it leaves a balance: minus 3
At minus 10, our blood could freeze
and fall back earthward; blood red snow.
Caught on the tongue it tastes like pennies.
          Tastes just like
          the metal shavings
          we become
          in magnetized times.

Overfed. Neutralized America.

Greatest country in the ******* world.

                    Right?

In the morning and in the evening,
Drive-time bulletins oceans away.
Between the mourning and seeking,
Gridlock still lives in yesterday.
It's all around me.
It's all around.
It's all around me.
And It surrounds.

I'm conscious of the difference in continental content,
But I'm so sensitive to casualties that will always be.
Everywhere where necropolis' thrive and crushed steel and plastic are taking lives.
Always so far away from me.
Always so far away from me.

Where we find fatal jackknives and pileups on express ways making mechanisms of bone marrow.
This is where,
The public expresses sorrow for the victims who died tomorrow.

ASHLEY BABY!
You make me feeel sooo alive
I've got purpose once again!
YEAH YEAH!

If looks could **** you'd be the one
That takes my world and makes me numb
I'm nothing, without you I can't breathe (I can't breathe)
And as the sunlight burns the sky
I see through my obsessive eyes
I'm nothing, without you I can't see

You're the strength I need to fight,
You're the reason I still try,
I'm the moth and you're the light,
Use these wings so I can fly

Self destruction has tainted our way of life.
It's time to break the cycle.
In the darkness of fear, there's a dawning light.
It's time to break the cycle.

We stumble around and fall to the ground, but are we too proud to reach out,
to reach for a hand that can help us to stand, and keep us from falling facedown?

We're only helpless because we're heartless.

In a world
headed for self-destruction,
the answer is here;
are we too blind to see it?
In a world headed for self-destruction,
the answer is here; are we too blind to see it?

-For Today
For Today.

As the rain batters the car
sighs born in a
love/hate stalemate
weigh down the air

Forests surround the parking
lot, protecting
our thoughts, nothing
saves me from you

Words spoken incompletely
float in the clouds
of sad warm breath
and ghosts turned to flesh

Limbs untangle and reach for
the moon, stereo
cherubs sing tunes
of sweet death metal
“Why do you listen to metal,”
I'd always wanted to ask.
“It's because I always want to scream...
No one lets me, but I'm glad you asked.”
Golden sun sets on the concert house;
The hellish day, it’s now been dowsed.
Asphalt night and onyx skies,
Crowds and crowds of endless size.

Yet it rises on the wooden stage;
Burning, scorching, lunar rage.
Curtains of lapis suspended,
For a show that’s highly splendid.

The bands, they take up their instruments,
Checking function with much diligence.
The azure slides, the crowd’s boisterous,
Let’s send them home filled and joyous!

Strum and strike, music sounds and hikes.
Mystically does it flow, no break or pause.
Number after number, avalanche of applause.
Now they’re screaming and whistling! Yikes!

The night wears on, and sapphires glisten,
In skies of turquoise and warm transition.
Marmalade sunrise, it goes on and on!
But nowhere in the hall is there a yawn.

The crowds recede like biped cattle,
An endless, drunken, random rabble.
The next noon, the hall’s still defiled.
Music echoes in their heads, meanwhile.

There are things metal made-of,

my heart is not one of them.
so treat it caringly, softly, but sensually and completely.
