The time I was born it was a golden time
I knew I was weak,  I cried a lot
I have stumbled many times
So she sang me a lullaby
Then whispered to me baby baby sleep
Then so I held her palm as the warmth of her hand made me calm
While she sang me a lullaby I suddenly fell asleep
Then so I have grown as time passes by
As I keep growing on then so she is aging on
I get stronger day by day but her strength keeps fading away
As I grow strong she gets weaker a day
I don't know what to do but to be by her side
Then sing her that lullaby
I know she'll fade away but our memories will make her stay
As I sang her song that time I cried, made me calm, and me smile
Makes her remember the golden times
Oh mother mother don't fade away as I sing this song
You'll be here and I'll make you stay
In my memories that time  you sang me a lullaby
Remember that was our golden time
So I'll stay strong as I sang you our lullaby
Oh mother mother baby is here listen to my lullaby
Please don't fade away the melodies are here for you to stay
Oh  mother mother sleep here with my heart
I'll keep you safe here in my heart

You can lift me
with merely a smile
my head tilts at the sight of you

I want you near
stroking my hair
gazing through my eyes

Speak to me more
about you and your interests
anything you can possibly share

You can see me
in the days and nights
when my hand reaches out to you

I want you here
cradling my arms
submerging through my mind
missing someone who caught my eyes and mind

Come here, love. Lay in my arms. Rest. Do you hear that, love? You cause that pounding in my chest. My heart. Your lullaby is what keeps me alive.

I've put you to sleep with a song,
And you sleep like a rarity,
Lying deep in a treasure chest,
Veiled by the lure of ample gold.

And my lullaby continues,
Yes, much like a prayer it does,
In a mellow light pouring in,
From the stained glass that your church boasts.

But as my voice grows fragile,
This lullaby might go quiet;
Insnity might condemn me,
To deem you dead, to deem love gone.

And thus, I must wait and see,
If you'd remember what I said,
"Lest I should ever think love dead,
Wake up and say, 'It's not, it's not'."
Inspired by Isabella's Lullaby composed by Takahiro Obata. I had no idea what was I was writing. This poem doesn't even make sense to me.

lullabies are counterproductive
do not bother to sing
for i will wake up,
and stay up-
to hear you finish the entire thing

Night's deafening lull
cradles me back to limbo—
—falling is release.

the air smells of crisp pale pink flowers
dappled by a gentle pitter patter of April showers
glittering, smiling white lightning crowing hello,
tonight nature is gentle with her babies.

the sweetest storm you've ever seen,
and the flora and fauna seem to exhale in relief
soaking up the fertile juices to grow strong,
as the birds silence their chirps to listen to her voice,
as the fawns lick and nuzzle their fellow deer,
and I've got to wonder,

is the spirit of my mother here?
this is why i love spring.

High up the skies above,
Lives a boy who nestles the sun
in his feeble chest,
He sings a song; a lullaby
to put the sun to sleep.

High up the skies above,
Lives a girl who grates an ice
She grates and grates till summer
came, till it fell as snow, as rain.

High up the skies above,
Lives a servant boy to a lazy queen
She is always warm thus needs to cool,
So he blows and blows till the trees
can't dance to tune.

High up the skies above,
Lives a peasant maid with the purest soap
She makes a bubble, a trillion bubble that
connects to form a foam.
With every fall from her laundry bowl,
they fall to form the clouds.
Sun, rain, snow, wind, clouds.
