you are hollow, but i’m whole enough to make a sound for both of us combined. i’m lazy, quite hazy, quite sensitive when it comes to certain topics. standoffish, obnoxious around groups of people i know too fondly, poetry nerd, timid and almost vibrantly in love with the early morning peak of sun peeking through the arms of the tree outside my bedroom window. i’m quite passive, rarely erratic, hesitant but reverent. and you’re a howl-at-the-moon monsoon, curious raccoon, brazen, contagious smiler. and i’m most definitely in some kind of daze, trapped in a trance and you’re the sturdy rope that pulls me from my evitable demise. but i’m seventeen, still unseen, still solitary. still completely and irrevocably in love with the way things feel, dying for the realness of your peace wrapped around my shoulders.
bonfire sitting in a clearing in the woods. it used to be so simple. love, love, love is all i need.

A lie is an intentional mistruth.
It's when you deliberately try to get someone
to believe something you know isn't true.

A mistake is unintentional.
It's when you ***** up,
and usually,
you end up hurting someone
even though you never meant to.

It's when you let people push you
to do or say things you aren't ready to.

It's when you're still learning what it means
to dream, to live, to love,
when you try so insanely hard
to put it all behind you,
but you can't because people won't let you
forget the mistakes you made.

Just remind yourself that all people make mistakes,
and your mistakes don't define you.

******* up doesn't make you a liar.
It makes you human.

It was an ordinary nothingness day
I slipped on my clogs and went for a walk
The ones that smell like suede
It was cold, but sunny... winter sun
Very very still outside
The occasional motorist passing by
Where are they all going I wondered
The sound of my shoes
Like a horse galloping on a paved road
The trees looked particularly picturesque
As the sun hung still in the sky
I didn't feel sad this time
I didn't miss anyone
For a short moment I thought of things that could've been
But that was a fleeting thought that I shrugged off and left on the pavement
You have a reason to be here said a voice inside
Here... right now... in this specific space
In this place in time
You are simply somewhere on the planet
Breathing and living
Getting on with what is referred to as life
Breathe and live
Just simply breathe and live

The saddest thing is state of this world
In eerie indoctrinated paralyzation
Beautiful globe that once triumphantly twirled
Now in serious need of proper navigation
What has society become? :/

When the seconds turn into days; turn into weeks, turn into years
I'm losing track of the time.

On the cusp of 22; feeling black and blue, from the fights with a million voices
I'm losing track of my mind.

When the muscles in my face; begin to ache, from all the happiness I fake
It's just a matter time.

On the cusp of giving up; Lost in a sea of bad luck, nothing seems to ever be changing
It's just a matter of my mind.

I've learned to live with my broken heart
I can't even tell if it's falling apart
I guess... I've gotten used to it
I guess... I've gotten used to it

I saw an old farmhouse

It reminded me more of a home than just a house

I pictured myself living there

I pictured having the windows shut and the curtains drawn closed

I imagined silence

Behind this house there was a big mountain

Snow white clouds spilling over the peak like pouring milk

There was that silent sound again

Back inside I pictured an old black bakelite telephone in the passage

Only I knew the number

I could phone out

But there would be no incoming calls

I've chosen it this way

The kitchen is cozy and modest

A *** plant in the windowsill

The television and radio have been stacked inside the ceiling

They have become dust collectors

The only sound is the ticking of the clock

It doesn't matter if it runs down

Time is not important here

Not in this space

I eat

I think

I go for a walk

I return

I drink a cup of tea

It's late afternoon and the sun wants to retire

I read

I think some more

I turn out the light

I go to sleep and forget

I realize today
How much , I need
It's not the wants
It's the needs
Love , Family , Dreams
It's my creativity
It's painting my art
It's writing my poems
It's hugging my kids
It's being with friends
A kiss from my someone
You can make a million
buy a million things
But that is just not what
Your sadness is needing to heal
Your loneliness your desire
Your need for the social
connection
So reach out find a friend
Find what makes you feel
alive.
Tell yourself your worth it
and give to you
Don't sit another day lost
in the lonely sad day
You can find happiness
You can have laughter
You can find appreciation
That's what I hope
I share with others
Cause I know I've been there

To live is to experience tribulation.
How can there be rainbow without rain?
To live is to experience mortal dusts.
How can there be rain without water?
To live is to experience life's rust.
How can there be rust without metal?
To live is to achieve happiness.
How can there be happiness without sad things?

The only certain thing in life
Is that the sun will rise and shine
The bees would fly around and grasp
Whatever they could find at last
The moon will shine as well tonight
And all the stars as diamonds bright
I shall tell you one thing only:
The only certain thing in life
Is that you will live
And you shall die.
