LOVE is an angel....
who lift us to our feet...
when our wings have trouble
remembering how to fly...
simply love
You are so sweet
and so much nice
Too beautiful inside
that open my eyes

And when you speak
I love to listen
Stay a while
for a moment longer

Even though your just a portrait
Yet, sometimes your words remind
That guides me when I'm lost
and lift me up when I'm down.

Fists of iron
Steely embrace
A tumultuous tyrant
Ultimate disgrace

A burden beyond carry
A pain beyond name
Corded muscles harry
Face contorted with strain

Tired metal gives way
To the sound of ragged death
Dreaded tyrant of dismay
The sound of haggard breath

Yet the iron giant begins to fall
His weighty gait is sinking down
Tired legs slowly start to sprawl
As the hefty giant claims the crown

The struggle is an exercise
A ritual of deepest divinity
Yet failure tends to emphasize
That it is one done in futility

Another day of work set out to be tomorrow,
Today seeking most of all to live lightly
Open heart and easy mind
The core of our greatest challenge is savoring peace
And thriving with eyes which seep through them
A vision of simplicity.

So breathe, child
Breathe easy
Live inside the joy you seek
Let it be all and everything
Feel this wind,
A gift to this body
And let it carry you
Let it set you free.

Ask
Lift your face
Look to the hills
Help will come
When you ask for it.
Psalm 121:1-2
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

The lift is a truly marvellous creation
It moves people via elevation.
Raise your voices high
Lift your banner to the sky
Shout what you believe.

As I smile with a gallivanting smile that stretches the horizon of my face I can't help but think of when I believed moments like these were made for only the movies.

I now realize they are for those willing to smile and embrace the silver linings when the world shows it's darkest of days.

Sometimes you have to lift your head up and look to the skies and remind the world what survival looks like. Show the world what it means to wield your spirit when all of your armor has been ripped off. That even with nothing, you will contine to fight another day, and do it with a smile in your face
The weight was too much:
I despaired until I saw
I was meant to fail.
For when I try carrying,
I cannot lift as You can.

A wicked woman told my love, "**** him and you will be free."
My love paused, and the wicked woman's old twig of a finger pointed off to me.
Love walked to me with tearful eyes, as if she had no choice.
I smiled wryly and told her in the softness of my voice, "Let it be done, and be free.
No sword is long enough to show my love for thee. No dagger, short enough to match my heart's beat.
So please my love, take your choice of my death. Choose what would be fit."
She didn't hesitate, just cry. She, slowly lifting a mirror from the dust.
I don't know why I felt I must, but I wiped the tears away just to savor her touch.
I looked into her sad blue eyes, just for one more glance. Then I shut my own.
I could feel her lift the mirror, this was her chance, let it be known.
A crashing blankness came down on me, soon after the last things I heard.
"I'm moving up, and you're moving down." These were her last words.
I didn't understand them then, but now I think I know.
She will one day be in the warm light, while I'm still stuck in the cold indigo.
I'd always run up the down escalator, like a crazy kid.
She always said, one day I'd trip.
And now I finally did.
