Up in the branches,
Ripples dance across the sky,
And drip through the leaves.
This haiku is part of my collection dripping mountains. This is an abract collection on nature

Leave me alone,
with the trees and the rocks that feel as cold as the stone,
where the leafs will fall down like the rain the pores from the clouds,
and I still sit there getting soaked by the leaves as the touch me like it's allowed,
I'll pour my heart into what I feel is worth something more than what I have,
but for now my heart is silent like the leaves as they fall down onto me,
and my mind is the only thing making a sound,
like the wind does ever so effortlessly,
and it isn't until the leaves have covered me completely,
that I feel nothing but there cold,
a cold that is like the trees and rocks,
but felt a lot more like stone,
and as the leaves became stone,
like I finally felt alone,
Just a short little poem I had spinning around in my head.

The first leaf born from the forests seeding. Birthing
What flourished, grew here today. Each woodland had
A keeper, a life born from seed to the fruit of souls.

Animals nourished this new born, language of each
Taught, spoken winds told her of what happened
Near and far the woodland was a majestic place.

Upon a staff the first leaf flourished free floating
Energies of the forest flowed, emanated from its aura.
The winds spoke and she listened staff  held in hand.

A light birthed from the sky had found ground and
Trees set ablaze in it anger, their cries heard felt, pain
As life was slowly turned to lifeless ash, she cried.

As her staff called upon elements, ground, water, air.
Each apart to platy as the stream did rise upon the
Banks water did touch her feet and the staff came down.

The vines did drop entwined in circular stance and water
Fed and rained out, quenching diluting flames anger.
The pain felt as smouldering now floating ash.

Her hand felt the orchard of blackened bark, some lost.
But in time new life would flourish where it fell, consumed
To ash before. A seed she settled where new birth given form.

She bowed to the forest for it guidance. A droplet feel from
The first leaf, a tear of sorrow for what was lost, nourishing,
Healing those not fallen bark did scar, reminders of before.

She walks among the trees, the winds talk too her, she laughs
Sometimes a joke maybe wind is funny that way, the cycle
Continues she is the guardian of first leaf, and then she walks.

Her teeth rotted tea,
But root and leaf tell tall tales
Where silence now sips.
For Li Kai Xuan - my brilliant source for both tea and wisdom; I'll be visiting Fangcun soon my friend.

A leaf fell on to the skin of water
Balancing between floating and
Sinking, like a second life it was
Neither here or their.

Ever in-between traveling between
The realms of life and death. For
It did not grow becoming ever more
Fragile, seeing above naked branches
Where life once gave but fell.

And below as it skimmed on this fragile
Moment, dancing to the whims of the
Winds as past hence but more delicate
Where movements than they were before.

Little fragile existence of what was and
Had now become, it enjoyed its dance
But knew that it was a matter of time
Before the dance ended and to pieces it
Would collectively sink one last time.

Its ok to sit and cry at times. But dont sit there to long.
You have to get up and move on with your life.
Or its a matter of time till you fall and all you are is tears.
If somebody wants to walk out of your life let them,
Especially if you tried to be the best you could be,and you've done everything. If they still  want to walk away then learn its their loss not yours.
Half the people you are going to be sitting crying, and being depressed over are you going to even remember their name in 3 years?
Some people will come into your life for a life time.
Some come for a season.
You have to know what is what.
People get married to people their only supposed to there to teach you one lesson then wonder why you have so many problems in the marriage.
Then they wonder why  they can not find piece anywhere
Because people are misplacing the people whom are only supposed to come into your life to be there for a short while not an entire lifetime and it will mess the things up.
Think of a tree
You've got your leaves that fall off when the season changes.
Thats fine.
Theres a lot of people in the world who are like that.
Some people are like branches on the tree.
But once you step on your own.
They break and fall off the tree.
But once you find those few people who are the roots of your tree thats when your special.
Cause those are the people who are going no where.
Once you get your roots  you good.
Once you do let the rest go
Dont just throw people away.
If you tell the person the thing thats wrong and they try to fix it keep them.
But if they keep doing something that keeps hurting you thats a person who doesnt care you have to let them go no matter the pain.
You have to learn how to be on your own then how are you gonna learn to be with someone else.
You have your time to work on yourself.
Till the world puts someone for you to love.

Haiku Poetry is a very short poem with poetic images that can transcend the limitation imposed by the usual language and thinking. What if we took that imagery into the realm of human nature? While attempting to do this I tried to stay within the bounds of contemplative poetry that indicates a moment, sensation, impression or drama of a specific moment in nature. However, I broadened this framework to at times include moral, historical, scientific, legal, social, etc., issues as well. I believe, by doing this, we are introduced to a unique and creative imagery that paints a mental picture where you the reader can find much deeper meanings to personally relate.

**Aging leaf, detached
spiraling downward, dispatched
withering, no more
A short Haiku Poem, where just a few words can yield a thousand images
