Infinity is limited
Only by our
Imaginations

Unfortunately
Our imaginations are also
Infinitely limited
Quiet mind, immersed
in palest, warmest yellow.

Molecules within
find alignment
with infinity.

Silvery mercurial fluid
paints my bones
with gentle light.

You have come back.

Abundantly, warm salt
water envelopes me.

Even in this chair,
in this empty room.

On dry land.

I hold infinity in my hand,
And yet I cannot grasp it

It has no sky, no sea no land,
No gravity to lash it

Finger to thumb,
Inches stretched into eternity
How can it be,
Private to me
I have my own little infinity

Half, then half,
Then half thousand more
I cannot count,
Hope to find out
The grains upon the shore

Captivated, I’ll continue to stare,
At my hand of naught save air,

Resolved to solve the mystery
Of my own little infinity
James Alai Feb 2016
I see the universe
          Spread out before me
                          Shaped like stars
                                 Poking holes in the dark
Little lights of eternity
                  Floating in infinity
                          For ever and ever
                                        And ever more.
POSSIBLE Feb 2016
the brilliance of the darkness
served only to annunciate
the loudness of the passing silence

While the pervasiveness of the defeated idea
continues to occur in self-[a.s.s].embly lines
The nano utilizes a scope of micro to flesh out the macro

Simultaneous non-being
duly correlates to the emptiness of the tao’s ***-shaped,quantum hat
Possibility is endless, until you enlist knowledge as your retainer
The origin of all particular things is lost
through the knower being zenly slapped,

I just would have loved to help schroedinger's cat
pur.........
what a *****, he wouldn’t even open the box to check her.

Dear ∞ this is my letter to you while I let her be bound in quite comfortably in lazer-light leather.
Mica Kluge Feb 2016
Those times when infinity is
measured by a single heartbeat.
Emma Hill Feb 2016
Magical, ethereal
A dark angel tip toeing on heart strings and violins
Smoke and mist and vapor dancing something ancient and secretive
A siren on the shore and a mermaid at the depths
Darkness and light incarnate
Effervescent, eternal
A black hole imploding, a star death
Beautiful and mysterious
Unending
Infinite, enticing, intimidating.
Perfection to the core, perfection in and outward
Written about bria, the embodiment of black girl magic. Of beauty. Dark, light. Everything
Vincent St Clare Feb 2016
Two mirrors stand
Adjacent, opposed
Staring into the infinity
They strive to approach

Becoming
But never being

Twenty-six letters in the alphabet
Restrain me in creativity of expression
But I'll use all variations of them
To express every possible emotion
Because I am so free and so big
Made up of small infinities
I want to love with intensity
And hurt just the same
I'll burn every letter on paper
As it burns in my heart
For you all to see that I am the letters
And also everything in between

Blah blah blah
Enjoy. Maybe?
Love...
pretty simple title right?
like THAT'S never been used before, right?
well it hasn't actually
because my love has a different definition
than any word YOU have ever read
MY love cant be described by words
which makes the title unreadable
UNsimple...
the most i can do to describe it is this...
"Annie"
you see a word...
I see infinity
