My heart yearns for the days of yore
For my life went awry.
My heart yearns for the place I once lived
For I am astray and cannot find a new home.
My heart yearns to be heard
For I am muted by the deafening silence.
My heart yearns to be found
For I am lost in the labyrinth of the unknown.
My heart yearns to be fixed
For I am ramshackle in every single way.
My heart yearns for solitude
For I know I will be safe and secure.
My heart yearns to be loved
For I had withered and now gone.

See
All I can hear is your lullaby,
Still I am wondering why.
I can see your face glowing,
From you, I'm here now without knowing.
Don't wanna see your tears,
I just want to appear in your dreams.
Stay safe everyone

When I ran into you,
Your face was cold, covered with a mask,
Yet your eyes were so warm and welcoming,
Sending me a thousand heartfelt greetings!

You were physically distanced from me,
Yet your heart, your love was running in my direction,
So close I could feel it!

Your hands were hidden under gloves,
Yet your soul was radiating on me with such warmth!

I am a healthcare professional (Medical Technologist). I work at a Laboratory  Hospital doing blood, and respiratory testing... Everyday, like my devoted co-worker, I walk into a storm fighting  the COVA 19 virus, trying to save one life at a time

I hear whispering outside
The wind as your name is cried
My company on these nights so cold
Rhythmic song keeping my hand to hold
I miss you, and everything I hear or see reminds me of you somehow.

she yells from the bottom of a well,
thinking someone will hear her.
no one does, so she climbs.

as she's climbing, she hears a voice
that voice sends her tumbling
toward the bottom of the well.

she yells until she can't anymore
bursts into tears, curls up into a ball -
and desperately wants to be heard.

Love is a lifetime of examples of how we can overcome our fears, worries, and doubts

invisible but can be seen

Intangible but can be felt

And inaudible but you know it when you hear it.

At times it can seem to be extinct, and at others make you as euphoric,

In the end it is we who choose to let it see, feel, and hear our love, push it away, or accept it.
Love lost does t always mean you have no love
I want to write a poem about you...
Expressing my inner thoughts and feelings
in the most romantic way.
Telling all dreams and desires
in a way that can burn every heart with love.
So, everyone can see that our love
is so deep and real.

But sometimes love lost its words...
It can only speak in the language
that is understood by no one
but two hearts in silence.."

Can you hear the night creeping over the land?
Can you see the darkness eating up the day?
Can you smell the warm fire consuming the wood?
Can you drink the cold wind flowing past you?
Can you hold the nights starry sky?

listening to the silence of the morning
you can hear it
you can hear it in the vacant spaces of your sanity
those fragile places where it's safe to belong
belonging to what was once forgotten

A deaf republic can’t afford
to sit on its hands,

killing its sign language
in willful silence,

letting memory erase
the fear and the truth.

The disease existed.
The shrouds too.

Concrete does not
pave over the blood.

A stroll in the park
does not tamp the pain.

The Punch and Judy show
is but the pantomime
for the forgetful.

The only sound heard
is the singing of
marionette strings

culled from a pile
of burnt violins.

When the air turns
khaki and violent,
the crowd disperses,

their hands in their pockets
signing and forming words.

In a silent closet at home,
the last parents teach
their children to sign.

The children sign
to the doors, windows,
the grass, the trees, the sky

anything with
the shapes of ears
before ears were banned.
