Wellspring May 2018
Pounding,
Throbbing,
Stinging pain.

It keeps punching,
Kicking,
At my brain.

I can't see out of my eye.
Not with this,
This solid grip.
Slowly tightening around it.

My vision is cut off,
My pain unbearable.
No one can help me from this deathlike grasp,
Because Migraine has a hold of me now.
Yup. I'm in pain. Ouch.

I could clip the wings of angels.
           but still they would think
that heaven was a place to step upon.

When every god is deceased,
            and fact becomes reality .
                      Some still grasp at straws.

With horizons like shoulders
Stands the image of the self
In the self-perceived mind

Until called like ringing
The mountains asleep
Undisturbed in dew and time

So the woodsman knows and is awake
To the truest of nature
The societal eyes

And at the feeling of ever
Need it depart

He flies

Into the mountains to live a life spent alive
I've been reading too much E.E.

Demur nature's forces and prehend a leaf
The wind is an experienced pitcher and a fan, may I ask are you?
As the leaf drifts in the draught, catch this one, we'll have a laugh over a draught
The dimensions and weight of the frond will have your senses to and thro'
Importance of equanimity is essential, do not blink, and for goodness sake do not hit that tree
A few numerous attempts to catch that elusive bract, you're out of breath
However, even though nature's force is cunning, she'll give your breath back
Now the leaf is at knee level, baseball slide, football tackle, or hockey dive, ready your hands
The stiple's erratic motion is bewildering as the tension of the chance arise's
And just as nature and yourself breath out the prehend fall's in the pond with a graceful landing
I have never caught a leaf on purpose, have you?

I walked up a hill
A hill covered in asphalt
Ugly, treacherous land
Although the land, hideous
The land beyond
More beautiful, than anything seen
I climbed this difficult landscape to see
To experiance
What it would be like
To stare into the eyes of true beauty

In my return
It was gone
Burned to ashes
Now i stand here
Realizing the land I loved
Has abandoned me
Standing here
My truest fear has become reality

In my return
I have lost the love i had for only seconds
Yet I have lost the love i have longed for
My entire life.
You told me to

Hold on to him

when you were the one

I wanted to

Let go

Your fingers curl around me
like tendrils of mist
of icy darkness
in this floating abyss

All around me is dark
no light to be seen
My skin as cold as ice
Your grasp a freezing touch

You cling onto me
Frozen to the touch
as I try to pry you off me
but your grip as strong as stone

I cannot escape your Icy grasp
which chills me to the bone
Thoughts of light and warmth are gone
only darkness is my home

So when I feel your Icy grip
dragging me farther down
I welcome your icy grasp in comfort
as you pull me down

Pinches on my skin
Remind me I am still caught,
In grips of your love.
