Short dreams.
Temporary beliefs.
Short-term hype.
Falling heights.
New "dreams" bought with money, dreams as sweet as honey.
It already ended when it started.
Coming back to only leave me dream-less, again, with temporary gains.
Stars I want to touch.
Joys I want in my heart.
I want living dreams.
To live in a breathing, moving, real dream...
A dream that is real.
A meaning, sealed.
A goal more valuable than gold.
My goal is to please God! yas
Dejected by the performance
in an administrative test
a guy returning home
couldn't give his best

Perturbed mind
deluged with spike
It was only his reflexes
controlling his bike

A crowd gathered
on the road
grabbed his attention
switching off his thinking mode

He applied brakes
only to know
the real life and the turns
it takes

An office guy
had met an accident
remaining was the trampled car
while the soul had gone far

Filled with mixed feelings
of guilt and fear
sitting on the roadside
he couldn't stop his tear

Gathering himself
he kicked the bike
Mind was dumb
with no more spike

He reached home
and hugged his parents
he had got his answers
and he never laments

In spite of aiming high targets
he now accomplishes his immediate goals
Instead of showing off in the society
he plays his each and every role

For now, life is his only test
and he has to give his best

Today, an engineer near to his village
he writes and writes with courage....

I’ve got a tender itch
Itching for more sweet bliss
Just one temporary fix
Of a sublime runaround
I just really need
That one true special thing
We can be all this world needs
Or we could die so young
It doesn't matter if we live to see our dreams come to pass, or if we die chasing our dreams. All that matters is that we dream at all.

Touch my heart
Scorch my timbral heart
Teach me to be smart
Make my brittle brain start
Give me some dreams
I need
I need something to break
I need something to heed
We all need something to live for. Whether it's something tangible or only a dream. What is life for if there's no dreams to reach for?

Let’s talk football

All about
Who,
Scored
Missed
Raised
Fell

Who,
saved the faith
went unexpected

Make time
Just  live the game

                                 Let
                               sun-kissed
                               thin bamboo
                             paper lanterns
                            glide

    Fly
     high up
     touch the sky
     give light to my
    words

There
             always
are lessons
in our failures
grow

to
chase the
light   in   life
dare  to run  and
fly

                                        Touch
                                         heaven's
                                         face with the
                                           candle that burns
                                           bright

Know
that the
lights will guide
you    to the  right
path

  Close
your eyes
Let your heart
be   the    tender
      light

  Wear
your scars
with your pride
Each have special
tales

                                           Laugh
                                           without
                                           such big fears
                                           of times ahead
                             smile

Let
the life
of my words
and my lanterns
glow

Find
your life's
true meaning
don't be afraid
go

These Lantern poems are super fun and now, it's slight addictive!
These Lanterns light words of life which I hope will brighten someone's day.
One of my many dreams is to attend a Lantern festival in Asia, specifically Japan and China. I've always wanted to go.
There's something so magical, something enchanting about watching lanterns float away. A beautiful sight.
Life has many lanterns. Be in awe!
It'll show you the way.

Be back soon!

Nights are cold, trying not to think of home
But it seems to always happen when the lights get low.
She got dreams and aspirations so she takes out loans
To get her degree, prove she can make it on her own.
Step dad’s an alcoholic, mom nonexistent.
Tested early on to be resilient.
Searching for prince charming but he’s no prince at all.
No fairy tale ending, no glass slipper *****.
Relationships got down with a couple of beers.
Can’t rely on a man, gotta rely on a career.
She says she’s fine but I know her soul hurts.
Determined to make it and emerge from the dirt
To be more than a piece of *** in a skirt
And keeping a wary eye for guys trying to flirt,
Sizing her up, ignoring her mind they want her figure.
Magazines and media say she could be thinner.
Surrounded by females who care about fashion details.
Jimmy Choo shoes, Prada bags off retail.
Superficial women riding on their man’s coattails.
If that’s the standard then she knew she’d fail.
But she can’t, so she close her eyes and imagine
A world to call her own and she had to make it happen.
She stay grounded while her friends stay high.
They looking for their next fix, she keep her eyes to the sky.
She don’t really belong so through her teeth she lies
And just a few more years she’ll get that prize.

Cinderella wanna be a role model not a pole model.
Cinderella wanna be a work girl not a twerk girl.
Cinderella don’t wanna find answers at the bottom of a bottle..
Go Cinderella, this is your world

I'm hungry for success as well as stability
I'm hungry for that feeling of belonging in this world
I'm hungry for a connection with another half
One who's not afraid to show me his heart
knowing that I've learned not to easily trust
I'm hungry for a life thats authentic and true
I'm hungry for a life that gives an inner calm
I'm hungry to prove that I can be what I dream
I'm hungry to be at peace with my depression and anxiety
I'm hungry to be free
I'm hungry to be happy
I'm hungry to lead a life worth remembering
This poem...
Its one i had to sit down and ask myself...what do I want? What do I truly want from my life?
Im hungry for alot of things...
To get there I need to be selfish with my time.
Im so used to pleasing others.  Now Im going to work on pleasing myself
Be back soon!
