While I crossed the road
In the middle of a crowded village
I saw an aborgine tear
Falling from her crimson eyes
She carried a *** of water
Above her grey head
She looked at me
While leaving a shop nearby
The dweller stared at her
Walking away from him
He looked so pathetic
He had feelings for her
How does she feed her family?
How could she beat her poverty?
How blessed we are but unkindly
I'm too, helpless
Please forgive me
Help the poor people

Don’t dwell in the past
Or life will never seem to last
Live for today, die some other day
Life will not have meaning if you cannot move on

Follow the path of your heart
Don’t bother to leave that part
Only truth will uncover lies
So, better yet- don’t say goodbye

Try not to drown in the pain
Forgiving might wash it away in rain
Only time will whisper what occurs next

The past is over, and future’s growth remains in its grain.
I wrote this back in 2009. More upbeat than a lot of my work.

How can you forgive what you can't forget?
Can't think of a title yet :3
It doesn't matter how much time
That passes me by
I still can't seem to stop to cry
I never felt alive
Why is it so hard to try?

Will you ever come back to me,
Tuck me in and wipe my tears?
Or will you just stay the illusion
That you've always been?

I will fight alone,
From my birth to my grave,
Always have and always will
Used to the pain, suffering and ache
That's inflicted on me in everyones sake

I won't say no,
My heart is good,
So I can't let go

Forgive and forget is what they all say,
Even when it's not earned in any way

You can forgive
You cannot forget.
And when you cannot forget,
You rethink, you remind yourself
How it hurt you.
How it betrayed you.
How it made you believe,
That everything was okay now.

Can you really forgive
That which you cannot forget?
That which you do not allow yourself to let go of?
When you say you have forgiven,
Whose conscience are you setting free?
Why do you forgive?
Why did you forgive?
When you are reminded of your own agony
Again and again, with the same person
Walking by everyday,
Spending each day with you
In the name of family, friendship, love, marriage,
How are YOU sure that you have forgiven
So as to not allow a new rise
To that which you have forgiven
And put aside?

What is it that convinces you
That you can forgive
That you have forgiven
That you can move on from?

What is it that assures you
That once you've forgiven,
YOU will be okay,
That you are ready to move forward,
That you know will not affect you anymore?

Sorry is the faded line
Crossed too many times

Blurry thoughts,
Weary eyes.
My life was built by others lies.
Frosted love,
thrown to the cold.
Often times I feel alone.
Skin deep does it cut,
sometime we should keep our mouth shut.
This moment now is near it's end,
because I know I will forgive again.

Oh!
How many times have
I broken your
heart
yet
here you are
still loving me

And I
will never
understand that

I forgive too quickly,
To me this is sickening
The beast inside of me, unleashed
Wishes to be a blade, unsheathed

Released into the world
Spinning, twist and twirl
Manipulate events, unfurl
A masterpiece, coloured swirls

It makes me feel helpless
I have too many morals
I follow them whether they help me
Or alone, I call

I have warned them
It's the last chance they will get
The satisfaction may be real
But I may end up in regret
a short, sharp ******* poetry... I am not satisfied even though it feels right. I guess the message is clear though, and that's good

I was once told,
"A wise man forgives
An even wiser man doesn't forget
Because how would you learn your lesson
If you never remembered?"

Something else that ties in with that:
"Experience defines who you are. If you never try, never succeed or fail, then you are truly nothing "
