I waited for the storm to stop,
for the promise of a rainbow on top.

I waited for the trees to grow,
so I could reap the fruit I sow.

I waited for the flower to bloom;
perhaps it may brighten my room.

I waited for the sun to set,
for the view helps me to forget.

I waited for birds to sing;
their song starts the morning.

I waited for the summer,
for my bed is getting colder.

I waited for the rain,
because rain calms the pain.

I waited for the stars tonight;
they give hope, that someday, it might...

I waited for the world to sleep,
so all night, I could weep.

I waited for your love that I lack,
because you promised that you'll come back.
Promises... promises may fool one if he / she allows them to.

Blissful Ignorance
Love in spring and April tears
I was your fool then
I just wanted to try writing a Haiku. I don't think I really like this style of poetry though. It's really nice but I'm more of a rhymer than a syllabic person.

I always  thought
“They were the one”
How many times
I forgot
But too many till I thought it was real
Little did I know
I was fooled
I was tricked
By sweet talk and little “gifts”
Thought I meant something
But it was nothing
I was “trash”
To them at least
Happiness,sanity
They slowly faded away
Sadness engulfed me
I was trapped
For real
I’m this pit of darkness
Worse than Tartarus
Fear-shaken
I was broken
And changed
My heart became stronger
No longer made out of glass,
But steel

The heart is a liar
And is prone to mistakes
I mean it spends all its time beating
Tick tock tick tock, it cant slam on the brakes
It cant find the time to stop and think
Else I might be on the brink
So the next time your heart tries to tell you what to do
Tell it no can do
Listen to reason
Unless your logic is shot
Then that can fail you too

I Die Daily
Daily I am Born

Life and Death
Both are my Friend

Death is Lovely
Life is Ugly

Death is Cool
Life makes us Fool

Death is inevitable
Life may fail

I like my daily Death
No tension at all

Sleep is my daily death
I enjoy it after all
I Die Daily.  What about YOU?

Once again
I have allowed myself to live
in the illusion that
you actually care for me

How foolish of me
to let lowly emotions
get in the way of reasoning
and logic

Please don’t waste my time

again.
It's my own fault

No day goes by without a mistake,
If only I'd told her, and given her my coat,
I'd be some one she can't forsake.
But the words I could not utter, were stuck in my throat

---If all people need love, then why bother with fruitless chasing?
Limited time, but wasteful hearts, for what?
For I know love is not rational, instead felt, it cannot be stopped
So waste no time and lend me a moment---

If only I'd told you then, that cold afternoon,
But love is scarcely spoken by a short-lived buffoon.

succession in the act
one cannot be afraid
of making theirself a fool
cannot remain of ownself
strip and despoil of worry
my strongest desire to be a fool
shameless in integrity and condemnation
grasp the pure abyss
and be everything other

.
And so he sits
once more
folding his life
into an origami box.
Paper walls,
cellophane ceilings.
Counting out syllables.
Sequenced
to twist-**** the mind.
And quietly
he sits
ghosting the room.

It’s true, Real love is for the fools
So hurt me, I know you want to
We’re better misunderstood
