I

Surrounded and submerged
By Darkness of the deep.
Berserk, I bounce below
Under the wild waves.
Distraught and in distress,
Making manic movements,
But before blacking out,
Emptiness envelops.
Finally free from fear.
Such sudden, silent sleep.

II

Poison *******—
Assaulted and abused.
Violent violation—
Coerced without consent.
Demolished and destroyed.
****** and dehumanized.
Growing god awful guilt
And losing lust for life.
****** survivor—
Dead and demoralized.

III

Tunneling thumbs dig deep
Inside my eye sockets.
Blood burst and starts to spurt.
Pupils pop—soundless scream.
Shaken, shocked and startled.
It’s finally come true.
Catastrophe confirmed.
Loss of light, lacking life.
Misty, murky milieu.
My domain of darkness.

A world of chaos fell into silence
The stillness slowly sank into her
Warmth crept into chilled bones
As the dust settled, she wondered
"Is it wrong of me to be this safe,
And be lonely for my old fears?"

I am wanting to be wanted
Not by all, at least by someone
But nobody ever keeps me first
The fears I carry, have often held me to shun

I try to feign, I pay no heed
But I espy all the tenuous changes
I try not to get distressed
But I end up getting hurt, knowing people have multiple faces.

Everybody loses interest, as time passes by
Nobody keeps a check on anybody, be it me or you
All are engrossed, I know. I wonder if they lie
I’ve come to realize, everyone becomes someone I once knew.

Push in and up against the *****
Loosened grip clasps a hold
Repeat intent between each slip
The tricky path teaches quick
Learn from within frustration
Then lean beyond a stationed pose
Hard tasks are masked in broken bits
With no one above to call upon
Possess the will to calm your fears
Retrace the steps that brought you here
Reach out across to peers instead
For each possess a thought process

I'm acrophobic
But I ain't afraid of heights.
Instead, what I'm really afraid of
is the fall.

The salted whispers
Run through me,
As I dream of the
Inevitable gore,
Of my fears.
That flood
My mind.
Dreams strengthen the conscious

The tears and shower blend,
while the thoughts I  amend,
and the deafening thunders
dampens the whimpers
of the stinging wounds,
in my heart abound,
as I drown
in the
woe
some wounds take longer to heal than others or maybe never

Don't let fears of the yonder
wreck your
future.
Keep moving forward to the best of your ability. You may not be moving as fast as you want but give yourself the credit that you're still moving regardless...
Much love,
Lyn 💜

You anxiously pace the room
As you sit still lost in thought
Caught in a time loop
Running back and forth
Between your ambitions and anxieties
Your heart is constantly racing
As your mind is overthinking
You are lost in the present's darkness
Hoping to find your future
Somewhere in your past mistakes

The moon vanishes
As you surround yourself with anxiety
Whenever you turn your head
Towards a past shaded with regret

So, settle your restless heart
Turn towards the sky
Do you see it waiting?
Like a dim lamp
Waiting for recognition
Like a gift that will illuminate
The night that has fallen
Over your dreams

Destiny will smile at you once again.
The drought that has infected your heart
Will be washed away
With showers that rain down from your ambitions

To fall in love with writing
is to fall deep into an endless cavity.
Ready your stance for your emotions to be barked,
for your fears to be actualised,
for your dreams to be ignited.
Words serve a purpose to grasp the blind hearts roaming this wide escapade of awakeness.
