"Take me back to Jupiter" the little girl cried.
Tears in her eyes, releasing a sigh of....
something.
A release of a subject, something not quite in the relm of love but that of loathing.
Losing by the tail feather of cupids arrow.
Grazing his cheek.
Pricking the skin in her chest.
Planting a flower of heart petals which blooms in her eyes-
Mid blink.
When her eyes open. She sees you.
And you let that feeling,
The dopamine feeling.
The chemical experiment which runs through your veins,
Pounding in your heart,
Fluttering in your stomach,
Pressing against your lips
Without realising....
She also saw someone else when she opened her eyes.
Instead of a monogamy of romance youve invited yourself into a competition you can't win since she'll always love the both of you...
And there's nothing you can do about that.

Are they snowballs down in hell
or just fire, smoke and heat?
I must live forever in my shell,
solving the matters of your deceit.

You put my feelings in the shredder,
wearing that silly mask of Cupid,
I'm guilty. I should have known better.
You're Evil in disguise, and I'm so... stupid.

You were feeding me with charming lies
about how your Sun is kissing the snow,
you made me walk away two thousand miles,
now I don't live at home anymore.

We should stop playing this blame-game,
and don't hide behind the shadows of a traitor,
the loneliness is whispering now my name,
believe me, you will thank me for this... later,

when your raven years will bring you wisdom,
you'll sit and have your morning breakfast,
you'll make confessions to God's kingdom,
only then you'll triumph over Life's tempest.

I don't want to wish we could be Romeo and Juliet
Cupid and Psyche
Eurydice and Orpheus

I just want a you and me
In this world full of fairytales
Let me  be your reality
I'm just thinking about her

O, feckless dart of immeasurable delight!
Wouldst thou direct elsewhere your flight,
And refute my rival’s gentleman claim,
That he be immune to Cupid’s aim.

His smug sobriety remains intact,
His pages blithe and matter-of-fact,
Where my poor pen is inked with woe,
And ****** to hell by quiver and bow.

O, mischievous boy do grant my request!
Whether modest maid or comely *****,
His downfall ensured by one bold kiss,
Shoot low, shoot high, but do not miss.
‘“Oh, did you expect me to play fair?” Cupid laughed. “I am the god of love. I am never fair.”’

Harry was the best friend of Henrietta.
Harry cared about Henrietta,
So much so that he loved her.
One day Harry prepared to propose her,
Before he did, Henrietta told him something.
She told him that she loves Henry,
However, Henry was seeing Lisa.

Harry was determined to get Henry for Henrietta.
Harry wanted happiness for Henrietta,
As if she's his daughter, his alter ego.
One day Harry charmed Lisa & lured her into a room,
And all this while, he made a video of them making love together.
Lisa was not aware of the video he made,
Harry beamed the video to Henry.

When Henry ditched Lisa,
He accused her being a cheater.
Yet with Henrietta he did not indulge,
And Lisa tried to woo him back.
Lisa apologized and felt it too,
Bad for Henrietta, Henry forgave Lisa.
This left Harry helpless & hapless.

Finally he loudly spoke up an ode to her,
Harry to Henrietta that be,
"Can't you tell that I love you,
Oh how much I love you?"
I slept with Lisa to make sure Henry,
The guy you want so badly,
Broke up with her.
She apologized and he accepted her back,
Their love is flexible and true.
Yet you don't see me seething with resentment and pain,
How I wish for you to see that I love you so much!"

Henrietta's eyes brimmed with tears,
Tears of realization and happiness.
Harry & Henrietta stared at each other,
In a moment that was so pregnant,
All the ambience was so stagnant.

Then both Harry and Henrietta lunged for dear life,
And they jumped towards each other to let the lips lock.
They kissed each other and caressed the partner's neck,
As if life is forever here to stay and they can play the leisurely fife.

fluffy cream, beaten egg whites,
powdered sucre, brown and white,
mix it in a bowl, made from the wood of cupid's bow,
add in all your true feelings, affection, and hope,
and soon you'll have a sweet that makes you feel like you can float !

Watch where you ******* aim, why don't'cha?
You can really hurt someone with that bow-and-arrow of yours!

Idiot.

where do we go from here,
from this broken fort?
who do we fall into,
after bleeding on cupid's court.

don't follow to close,
for you'll catch my sad remorse.
slam your door,
on my aching warmth.

let me dip in Lethe,
to forget my woes.
take a shallow breath,
who are you? only heaven knows.

Ahem.  There truly is no excuse for me.

(sonnet #MMMMMMMDCCIX)

O for the silver foil winged cupids, frail
With arrows on the string, and shooting thence
At blood-red hearts!  Erst wont to trick out hence
My pages thus, I miss them now!  In pale
Excuse, where is the box of hearts t'avail
Our foolish dreams of romance? Ah, fr'intents
How I wish to lay candy hearts out, whence
I'll trade their speeches with you like's sweet bail.
These whitish racks which put the light as twere
Out til day is a fragile thing--I do
Not mind their surly cast.  No choclate to
Assuage fond, erm, desires, no.  I in poor
'Scuse yearn for childish candies wont to stir
My heart with dreams crashed every year now too.

Dunno why it struck me this Valentines Day that those New England Confectionary Company candied hearts were all I wanted, but there you have it.
