There is little chance for me,
to become something even close to a fantasy.
There is no chance for me,
to become something that my mother will love to see.

These are the thoughts that my mind swims around in,
constantly.

Every time I look in the mirror,
I bring this doubt into my mind that I will ever be,
enough.

The sixth article of the Universal Declaration of HUMAN RIGHTS states that,
every human on this planet,
has the right to recognition everywhere as a,
person,
before the law.

I believe that the phrase,
"before the law"
should be changed because,
we have changed.

In a different time,
this would have made complete sense,
when the law was held as more of a social construct.

But nowadays,
both men and women are judged,
not for their actions,
but for their appearance as well.

This idea that,
even though we are specs on this planet,
we are impermeable to another's words is,
appaling.

This idea that,
because we are individuals,
we cannot love someone else's difference is,
astounding.

These are the ideas that make us think,
that we are not enough.
make me think,
that we are not enough.

We are filled with this,
want to become something better,
but instead of being better,
we fall down the ladder,
and into this abyss that is filled with black goo,
and this black goo becomes our soul.

It becomes the way we act,
the way we speak,
the way we breathe.

This black goo of endless torture.
It will be the end of humanity.

It will not be the end of life,
but the end of kindness,
the end of happiness,
the end of empathy,
and at that point,
is living really worth it at all?
If you think you are worthless, please read.
coiled together
a pair of corrupt serpents
to impair virtue

the eye perceives
much of the vile two's badness
hissing around here

they're well entrenched
within our locale's dwelling
doing as they please

The beast mortified inside
Breast aflame about to burn
Inside he dies

Where the black flower
Blooms into anew
He will seek respite

For past sins
Old grievances
Poured into a summer blue

His *** meaningless
Spite cracks the whip
Plurality the dinner knife

Sanitation foresaw
Without the forceps
Boarding on a foregone conclusion

The spring mattress
Made broken
No time for resale

His' cage, not a solitude
Words obtuse and unabused
Love is his knight

Shining and gleaming
Scornful without hate
Shameful but sane

His burden
The heart
Colliding with the bar
The red car stopped on the arc of the hill at the corner of Corrupt Avenue and ******* Boulevard and let out a young woman with skin a dark brown hue who looked like life had hit her with everything including the bathroom commode.
"Thanks for the inks and the ride" said the dark brown woman as she got out of the red car.
"Red and green looks good on your skin.  Can we keep doing *** for tattoos?" said the driver of the car.  The dark brown woman took a peek under the shades she was wearing and said "Sure baby."
"I'll be seeing you Abby" said the man driving the red car.
"Yes you will" said Abby.
Abby turned her back to the man driving the red car and walked up the long stairs that led to a four storey brick building.  As Abby walked up the stairs she got all types of stares from the people leaving the building.  Abby made her way through the big glass doors and noticed an odor.
The smell was the smell of Marijuana.  Abby followed the odor to the office of Willie Dun.  As Abby entered Willie's office she saw him sitting on his desk with a blunt in his left hand and a liquor bottle in his right hand.
"Abby, baby what took you so long?" asked Willie Dun as he put the blunt to his mouth.  Abby took the liquor bottle out of Willie's hand and put it to her lips and took two sips.  As Abby took off her white shirt she put the bottle back to her lips taking one last sip.
"I was getting tattoos.  What do you think?" asked Abby.
"Nice art work.  The reason I called you here is because I want you to help me with my campaign.  I'm running for Governor.  You have a lot of pull in the streets.  Are you still a resident of ***** Alley?" said Willie Dun.
"Yes, but I'll only sign my name on your campaign trail if you help me move out of ***** Alley" said Abby.
"Ok Abby where would you like to move?" asked Willie as he took the liquor bottle out of Abby's hand.
"East Ecstasy Street" answered Abby.
"I can make that happen.  With you on my team I'll have the average Joes votes for sure" said Willi Dun.

A soul full of jealousy,
a heart full of pride,
I struggle to keep my demons inside

My mind is corrupted,
my anger unleashed
my path is unclear as I change my stride

Relentless anguish,
unbearable pain,
a place I know all to well,
Heaven help me, for I have fallen,
I'm stuck on the wrong side of hell

Become exalted among men.
That was his calling, down
To the fibers that made up
His consciousness.

Become a paragon of virtue.
Piety, prestige, power.
The three undulating commands
That invaded his dreams.

Hubris seeping from every pore,
He conquered his lands,
Spreading warmth from which
Came serendipity.

Will he die and leave his subjects
In a mask of pain?
Or will his benevolence remain
in the hearts of his loyal followers?

Such was the opaque fog
of his mind. Where he saw a perfect
Sphere of light
was an oblate cloud of darkness

Out of which seeped words
Of encouragement.
Prestige, piety. Power.
Benevolence. Destiny.
Just one more body.
Just one more royal cause.
They don't mind dying for you.
They will become martyrs;
You will become their god.

They call him a tyrant.
No. That word will not be allowed
In his country.
But
The darkness grows within him,
Becoming him.
Power corrupts people; most tyrants do not begin their rule with the intention of evil.

The angel called to me,
said I have wings for you,

The demon called to me,
said I have chains for you,

Living in a dome,
Imma bout to take this to the dome,
Come to my domain,
Let me change you,
Let me corrupt you,

Come let me serve you,
Give me elegant servants,
Imma put them in my dome with me,

Come sit in my dome with me,
lets watch the sun execute us...

Let us be reborn as one tonight
Confused cause I am

I'm an angel trapped in a bubble, who is remarkably naïve.

What will happen to this angel when the bubble bleeds?

Will I fall into the depths of this horrid world or will I stand tall above the trees?

Honestly,

I think I will fall into the depths of my own naiveness, blind to what I see.

Listen up
This goes out to all of you
I just wanna bring up the things that I've been through
First off I am multi cultural
Meaning that I am part of many things, but I don't belong at all
Secondly. I'm a Female.
How about you sit and listen to what it entails....
A young girl, driven by dreams
Only to be brought down by men with low esteem
But hey, what can I do?
What i'm saying is that if I don't give in than it's an issue
Oh no! Did I just say something wrong?
How about I change the subject, so that I don't prolong
Anyways, what was I saying?
Let's talk about the anger and hate people are displaying
Wait, is that too much for you to handle
Maybe I should stop before the president declares this a 'scandal'
Whoops. There I go again
I know that ya'll are waiting for this **** to end
But hey, it can't. Because this is the truth
And I'm sorry that you heard it, from a troubled youth.
Just a little rant.
Feel free to give me your opinion on the stuff that I brought up!
