Some people say I'm crazy
Others think I'm shady
When they try to picture my face
It gets a little hazy

But that's me,
Unseen and unnoticed
Unless I actually try
I get by with my coldness

Shadows and ice
I strike a match and fire's my prize
Just staring at a flame
Can make me realise

The simple things in life
Contain the most beauty
And it's the simple things in life that make
The supposed building blocks of you and me

Yet words are complex, often used to reject
Spat forth with no thinking, every day is a test
There's little beauty in words, when they are said with such venom
And the rate that they spit forth, you know how well it's selling

Black market the poison and it drips from the tongue
Spittle off the lips and small words make you dumb
Just remember the simplest things in life, like roses, have all the beauty
So every time I look inside I see a rose within me

But it has thorns too, and catches at my heart
The simple thing that is my life tries to rip itself apart
Torn by events and pretence I can't defend
Against such an attack, so successful when it won't end

Ending life is an option, don't forget it
But it's also a path full of darkness, I'm not pretending
I glared down that path at least a hundred times over
In my mind, on repeat, worth nothing to no-one

And I deny my sadness existence because it doesn't belong
In a world from a crazy, shady person because it's wrong
But keep in mind, all the time, that beauty remains plain
And it's the simple things in life that stop us going insane

My heart is my weakness
The word love to you was just another word
The light vs darkness
You never saw good
But only looked at the   bad
So fast  to judge me as you put me on the cross
All i need was your love
A kind word into my world
hand bring me up when i fall
So much pain over comes my soul
I want scream inside but you wouldn't understand
I have let go of hope
And knowing you will never be rock in my life.

The section i find most difficult to articulate
Whilst of minimum complexity,
Sparking such innate debate.

Scorning my own persona’s voided,
True personality remaining avoided.

Each multifaceted side of mine plenty,
Evoking analysis of my true identity.

I am everybody yet nobody,
I am everything yet nothing.

Constant contemplation of reality
(though part of my normality)
Evoking analysis of my true identity.

I envision each person i encounter,
-though see the tormented oh so clear.
Each time drawn into to the tempest like vortex,
Of another quite so mutually complex.

I am everybody yet nobody,
I am everything yet nothing.

I tell you every day that I love you.
You ask why I say it so often if we both already know it.
We are from different dimensions.
Your love is simple, cookie cutter calculated.
Your love focuses on the facts,
Not taking the time to give attention to the what ifs, whys, and other scary wonders.
My love is swirling through galaxies,
My love paints pictures upon pictures of our love.
Sunsets and fields that go on for miles,
Everything with allurement dedicated to you.
My love quietly asks your love for a bit of comfort and your love calls mine childish.
My love is explosive,
retaliating and overreacting as my feelings for you ooze and drip everywhere.
Your love frantically tries to clean up the mess,
Frequently checking its surroundings to make sure nobody is looking.
My love is an encyclopedia.
Your love is a word.
My love for you is mosaic,
every glass piece glistens and gleams in the sun in a million different ways showing the millions of different reasons to love you.
Your love is one singular, beautiful color.
One color is enough to show your knowing and strong affection.
But my eyes have always longed for the contradictions of warms and cools.
The spectacular mixing of firing hot reds and lovely icy blues.
A beautiful color spectrum dancing in front of my dreaming eyes.
Your love preferred the basics.
Your love has always longed for a love that can put all their love into one color.
One solid statement color.
My love will never appreciate the smooth simplicity of your being.
And your love will never quite understand why my love tells you every single day that it loves you if yours only feels the need to say it on occasion.

I was under his influence for ten days
He told me about trails he was about to walk
And how he never found love in those small-town streets
I dodged his kisses as he played the strings of my skin

Our last night, we barely even moved
We spoke of life's beauty, in all its complexity
As we watched the storm coming in
That next morning we pretended not to say our last goodbyes
And then the room flooded

I have been wearing him ever since
Right behind my deepest memories and my darkest guilt
He hits me with the sharpest sweetness about ten times a day
And I just stare at this new scar, in all its complexity
As I wait for the storm to pass

I've been mocked and laughed at
Because of my power complex.
I like to feel in control,
I must see, feel, know , hear all.
When I do, I feel on top of the world.

I used to vent this through the stage,
commanding an audience with my partners in crime.
Now it's through my speeches, and my ambition.

I just want people to know ,that it's not always bad.
This is what drives me, my rage, my ambition
To fight for those who deserve justice,
To serve a cause greater than my own by twisting the threads to make it so

letters form easily for you
at first glance I only see scribbles of ink
trying to fit between the lines
but then a word falls off the line
"beauty"
written so effortlessly
it looks nothing like the word
that flows from my pen
and now that I can make out each letter
I can't unsee it

I can't  be person you see
I am not just another sheep
My flaws cover my face
The past that can;t be un done
Feeling alone inside
As my thoughts tear me apart
The words that stuck my skin
I am broken without no glue
But who would knew
This  was just another mask that need be broken

Damaged good are always on sale
In every store, whether resale or retail
No one wants something that’s broken down
Except for when they see that certain person walking around town.
She is shattered and mangled, but not on the surface
A beautiful sight, her eyes lit like a furnace.
She sells herself, but not for ***
What’s given away is more complex.
The idea of being wanted is too far gone,
Like her dignity which left her for so long.
So she lives her life always seeming distraught,
But really it’s only because of her thoughts.
They consume her mind and swallow her whole,
And every day it takes its toll.
She is worn and broken, and it’s clear to see
What once was so beautiful, wild, and free
Is now in the past, she can’t help but reminisce
The days that were once so grand and full of bliss.
She gave up when she gazed in the mirror,
Seeing what couldn’t be any clearer.
She’s still the same person that she once was,
Except now she’s in the prison which does
Consume her mind, her heart, and intent
For her sins she feels she must repent.
Her past is one that no one would yearn,
And to this day the thought still burns.
If not for that single mistake
Then to this day his heart wouldn’t have a break.
She sold herself, but nothing is new
For it has happened to all of us a time or two.
We sell ourselves short in all that we do,
But what we must remember is that there are very few
People in this world that remain pure and true.
All the rest are damaged at best,
And in the end it’s what separates them from the rest.
I discount myself, but I will never be sold
On any ideas that I have ever been told.
When I get put down, what people don’t realize is that I have already found
The worst critic on this planet, the one sitting down
Writing this poem and filling your thoughts,
Making you feel like that damaged box.
