Id go back to the first moment
   Where your eyes shined brighter
When your lips curls up everytime
        you called my name

When your hands never grew tired
      holding mine
As Cigarettes were my yesterday's comfort habit ,
I got addicted to you more.

I used to think love tasted sweeter
      the longer you stay

This time I need that time machine
        to get another taste .
Oh I cry everytime I fail
trying to bring back what was once ours
Im not smart enough to create the impossible time machine to go back in time
but I'll be wiser to change this today
and pray for what fate molds us to be

seated at the backseat with our song on repeat
she reached for a stick inside the back pocket of her faded denim jeans
i heard a familiar flick sound
only to see a lighter on her hand
silence fell upon us
not knowing what to say, i glanced around
trying to find an excuse not to continue to blatantly stare at her
still, she is all i see through my peripheral vision
savoring the smoke,
letting it all fill her lungs
puffing,
inhaling
yes, a stick could **** sooner or later
if no one dares to stop her
but what if she's already dying inside? or what if she's just doing this to fight the demon who made its way inside her soul?
chained her heart,
no plan of letting it go
i may have seen her burned her throat countless times already
yet, it still feels like the first time her thin lips pressed against the filter
how i wish it was my lips, instead...

As he puffed his American Spirit, a handsome Asian business man said good morning. To the low hum of cars streaming by, I sang back, "Have a nice day!" We passed, two birds on their way to summer. I hope we don't get the emphysema.

My cigarettes are surrogate lovers.
Each with their own demands.
Lung cancer,
Birth defects,
Emphysema,
It's our imperfections that make us special.

liquid courage
Burning throats
The smokey taste of cigarettes on our tounges
This summer fling has obviously flung
Drunk and filled with love
Your heart fits mine like a glove
But with your hangover tomorrow
You will start to weep with sorrow
I was a drunk mistake
And my stone cold heart that was warmed starts to break
If only I could give her
a rocket ship, the silent balcony & a mirrored box of golden cigarettes
If only I could give her more,
Will you come out then?
Will you?

If only I could penetrate
her frisky eardrum, her brown eyes beneath the crest of her strange empire
If only I could give her more,
my dear heart
Will you come out then?

If only I could watch
a falcon on her wrist
If only I could challenge her ******* for a duel
If only I could wrap myself in her scarlet flesh,
my dear heart
Will you come out then?
Will you shine?
If only I could give her more...

I took a shot before school
No one knew

I took a shot when i got home
God im so alone

I smoked before bed
Lord help me before i bleed red

I took swig of *****
And my mom has no idea
im addicted to you
like cigarettes and nicotine
a flame surviving off chemicals
you make me burn
down to the bud
to the ash
to the wind
then you’re gone.
i've smoked one time, but i get the jist.
My eyes are
burnt.
I don't pray
to those
few
high school gods.
I betray the
teachings of my mother.
I pull out of
my pocket
a pack of cigarettes.
my silence is
lost.
I talk like antibiotics,
but
tell me
can I still feast in an abnormal modesty?
