In my heart I am grateful for something,
and that something is antibiotics.
I have seen how it saves human beings
in the form of a lollipop lick!

I have seen in its powder and pill,
there're so many formations to take.
You can swallow or crush, even chill—
to be snuck in a popsicle cake!

But the but for our butts to be butted,
is called Antimicrobial Resistance.
It occurs when bacteria get superly bugged
whence it's late for any sort of industrial remittance...
My eyes are
burnt.
I don't pray
to those
few
high school gods.
I betray the
teachings of my mother.
I pull out of
my pocket
a pack of cigarettes.
my silence is
lost.
I talk like antibiotics,
but
tell me
can I still feast in an abnormal modesty?

Returning with
A plastic bag and
Speckled with the rain
She hears the click
Of the door behind you
And you take off your coat

The patter of her feet
And she slides down the hall
In her favorite fuzzy socks
To greet you with a warm hug
And the smell of Vicks
That will never go away

And you don’t forget
To put water in the soup
(At least this time)
And the kettle whistles
And she mimics it from
The other room

The world is warm
In front of the television
With your favorite movie
Sending changing colors
Across your faces
And her mug of lemon tea

Your presence in my life is antiseptic,
Germs like anger, jealousy and hatred are no more.
Your musical soothing words are
antibiotics,
My pride and ego has disappeared,
I am at peace.
Your beautiful smile is analgesic,
It has relieved me of tension and anxiety,
I am happy.
Your tender touch is anti-inflammatory,
It has soothed my pains and aches,
I am a better person.

A KISS is like antibiotics for the heart.

Side effects - blood pressure rising, possible dizziness
fantasies surfacing at any moment, Hungry for more.
just playing with the word antibiotics

Antibiotics may be the greatest discovery of human kind.
Lord knows its saved our soul many of times!
Its halo can be seen in a petri dish.
In the smiles of children on hospital wards.

But antibiotics aren't just drugs, or are you my drug?

Because your halo is keeping bad things away from me, my petri dish is clean!
Yet, the goodness is seeping from my bones and I get weaker with every day that I'm in love with you.

To my antibiotic, resistance is futile but finishing the course might **** me.

How badly
do I wish to love away
your
self-loathing,

to kiss
away your
ignorance,

to
hold you
through
your dissatisfaction-induced
convulsions;

cry away
your demons
and hate,
flushing
the pain
into my
skin.
