Don't you be ashamed
Of your heart of gold;
If they don't catch it,
It'll break their toes!
With a hefty density of 19.32 grams per cubic centimeter

Lately the sun’s warmed the sea, the fish hide deep
still as we sail you say to me these nets just washed let down,
I obey, for my brother names you Messiah, found,
and I wonder what you are that catches crowds—
suddenly I haul away at weight that weighs the boat
to sinking, I spent weeks worth working for half a load
as large as this, impossible cargo your power calls
and I cry leave me at your feet among the fish, face low,
for the blood of days is on my hands,
and in me there is too much man
but you stay with words I don’t understand:
*You have a new name, Peter, don’t be afraid
we’ll catch men in the waters of this world.

My inspiration left me
I just flew away
Can't you please tell me
how to make it stay
every time I try to catch it
I only catch the air
No matter where I look,
I can't find it anywhere...

Days begin
somewhere under
the height of
the sinking moon

and the tides that dance in and out
with it; I drift among
the crests—resting among them—
wondering how to catch a fish—
how to catch myself.

I am running  to catch my own smile
That escape from the time  we separate
When my smile follow your steps
and you hide it under your feet !!!
I am here, I am waiting for you or am I?
I do not know
Am I silently pushing you away or am I welcoming you back?
How can I tell when I feel so helpless
They say you will never let go of me
They say you are there
But then why do I feel so alone
I am waiting for you to pick me up or am I?
Do I not know my own heart, this heart that is yearning for you or is it?
I fall to my knees
I cry to you with the sounds of desperation in my whispers
Tears running down my cheeks letting me know that the only way is down
There is no one there to catch them
You are my first and last hope
I reach my hands out for you to take!
Please just,

Take them.....

The fluorescent fish, much adulated is now  terribly bored,
it's ornamental existence and the excessive attention received
soon turned to unbearable hassle and made him reckless,
seeks adventure in shallow waters he knows danger sure lurks.

A juicy bait, in fact an artistically concealed deceit, she had spun
is lowered by her from the fishing rod she wields, when near water
her eyes gleam seeing the painted fish, obviously an easy catch,
breaking the barrier of water his and her eyes disastrously meet,
he reads the meaning of her hard- sold deceit as love; perfect!

You went on your fishing trip
Caught a big one this time,
You said.
This one's a bit heavy,
Weighed down.

With a sharp tug on the pole,
You finally retrieved your catch.
Well, what is it?,
You asked.
You held something in your hand
Pulsing and black.
Whatever it is,
It's not worth it.

You threw it back into the water,
Back into the dark depths.
Let's keep on fishing.
I wanna catch a big bass.

They say there's plenty of fish in the sea
But you didn't even notice,
When you caught my heart.
Sure,
It was beaten
Almost unrecognizable.
But it only took you a second,
To judge my darkness
As impairment,
And toss me back to a personal hell
You reeled in my heart,
And you didn't even know.

I'm sorry I can't be
**The catch of the day.

Quick, quick,
Catch me before I fall,
Leave me if you dare,
This rock sound playing,
It won't last long,
So quick quick,
**** me quick.
