Little orange octopus
that's staring at me,
your fluffiness looks comforting
but I wish you'd tell me what you see.

I remember brown eyes
And I remember white fur
I remember the times
That I used to hold her
Lovingly in my arms
Or petting her till she rolled over on the floor
Hoping for more pets on her belly
So I rub her stomach and play with her arms
Expecting her to play along
She almost always did
Until she got sick
There was no more playfulness
At times she would only lick as a sign of affection
Oh, how I miss her happiness
That's why on that day you left
I understood that it was for the best
Even though it made me a mess
I had nothing less
Than unconditional love
For my darling, Jessie
Baby, I'll be there right with you, just wait
I'll meet you at Heaven's gate
And once again, we can play
Like we used to until that tragic day

Love is a not war
But against ourselves,

A will changing
Passion lifter
Bone breaking
Hand scarring
Feet burning,

It has not much to do with the heart
As it slices our brain in half
And we love it
Like loony maniacs who never had a cookie in their lifetime.

Can't you see
that the fish was gasping for air?

For the sake of your lust,
wanting to have a triumphant end
to such a meaningless contest
you lure it from its world.

How could you inflicted that
on such innocent, lovely soul?
How could you treated its life
as if it is unworthy at all?
How could you even sleep
when you have wounded another soul?

Dead or alive,
you have no right
to irresponsibly acted in that way.

Ignorance, arrogance.

No regret, no guilt.

Yes, because you are all murderers!

Away from the nicely lit place,
where guests chatted and giggled,
we sat face to face, in the after glow
of our smoldering new found love,
for quite a while, wondering within us,
how could emotional fireworks blow up
amidst prolonged pandemonium,like this?
Words to us, seemed quite out of place
I just gazed and gazed in to her eyes
she blushed, like a first time kisser.
A faint beam from a distance, made her
emotionally charged  face look all  aflame.
Her nostrils pretty attractive,perfect rings
looked flared,like an animal's,I noticed
that catches a scent, awaited for long;
seemed like she had an urgent need to express.
I had a guess, but her words were distracting,
"I love your fingers"she lisped, my index finger
on the right hand she started to pet,
"It's so enticing"she spoke as if
she substitutes a thing for one different.
as the compulsion was such.
Time stood still, in the middle, but that wasn't a hitch!
I remembered she had to leave, shortly
but the tide of our passions was flooding still,
so we created darkness at will around us.
There are yellow eyes
Flickering,
A heaving chest,
A stretching touch,
At rest; he eggs the sun.

A sheet of blue is pulled across,
A fading sky of restless stars,
He richly purrs to wake the birds
And gently puts the moon to bed.

Little Velvety creature.
precious animal friend,
brown ball of soft fur,
Humans think it's all to lend.

Do not harm our delicate companion!
must we always fritter?
alas our friend is decreasing in numbers...
save our cherished critter!

small beloved animal -
now protected in his home,
safe from terrible people -
miniature friend - no longer alone.
A small poem constructed efficiently, I originally wasn't going to make it rhyme, hence it's lack of rhythm.

Its amazing;
all species appear
to have  a universal understanding
of a universal language
that is unspeakable by tongue
rather understood by a gaze
that cascades through our eyes
and forms a bond
that ties us
together as
one
What I Feel May 2017
She fell back from her pack whilst the snow was still new,
She showed me her soul, I saw something I knew.

I am the loyalty, care and the love for my pack,
The warmth I can share in the cold nights of black.
I am the mother and sister and guard to protect
The heart and the home and the family perfect.

I am the scare and the scar and the snarl in the snow,
The hunt and the hound and the chasing the doe,
I am the fight to survive in a world full of fear,
But illusive, and timid, and as shy as the deer.

So I waited for her to slip into my mind,
But she padded away, leaving paw-prints behind.
