Firm hands
Visage, chiselled by gods
I pray upon the temple
Intertwined fingers
Sinful embrace
I have longed a touch for Mars
So far, yet he saw the wood,
The hill,
The Temple.

The Mars enraged!
Raging howl of a lone canine
Digging of what the burried desire has for him
Digging, digging
Dig!
The Lumberjack fervently saws the hills
O God! Visage with a burning desire!
Not a tune of emotion compares to what this broken vision has seen
Not a tune of reality passes him.

Unconcious by the dew,
Concious by the sun
Ending the sin of a forbidden bind.

Silence is unsettling to me
It scares me how loud it gets
when there is nothing

You bring all of yourself
To the spaces between
Our light and dark.
But you never explore
All the hope I've saved
For you in my heart.
You don't know
What I need
What makes me bleed,
Makes me shiver,
Makes me dream.
You don't touch
The darkest parts of me.
The places were my light lies,
In greatest pleasure.
Your would-be-delights,
If only you'd see.

I'm sorry things happen the way they do,
I'm sorry I made a change that benefited me,
and not you.
I'm sorry I'm changing, rearranging,
I'm sorry I'm putting me first,
and not you.
I guess you could say I needed something new,
I guess I'm sorry it was me,
*and not you.

I look back, was it all worth it?
Saying good bye at the airport pretending like it wasn't going to be our last.

I'm walking to my car holding back my tears, almost lost it.
You got on that plane, didn't look back.

On my way back to Clear Lake I pull off to the side of the road, almost lost it.
You land in Brisbane, didn't look back.

I walk into our apartment look into your room, almost lost it.
You're home now, didn't look back.

I sent you something in the mail, must of lost it.
You're seeing someone now, did you look back?

It's New Year's Eve
I'm here
You're there
I'm alone
You're far from it
I lost it
And now I can't look back

Life** is brutal
Life is tender
Life can be happy
Life can be like sand through our fingers

Life is a blessing
Life is a checkpoint
Life is a passage
Life is a journey

I'm tired
I'm old
I'm sick
I'm depressed

Complaints and complaints
when will it end?

It will end when it ends
Life is a story
God writes it out
This is our destiny

Stop trying to control
When to write 'The End'
Just work hard to make
gold out of sand

Make life worth it
Tell your own story
Fight against your enemies
Destroy old prophecies

This is Life
This is a story
One day we'll reach our destination
And witness the full glory

Of the skies up above
or the ground down below
One day we will understand

That life is gold.

After
confessions
lovers
commitments
heartbreaks

When I
met you
Then I
felt it

I
have been
am
will always be
an amateur
in love

Because you are my one and only
I'll never let you feel lonely
No matter how far we are
You'll always be my star

You'll always be the soul
I can't live without
I only have one goal
Which is without a doubt

To love you for eternity
Through all the insanity
To always fight for you
And to always stay true

It's only been a year
Yet it's so clear
You and I were meant to be
I promise I will never flee

Because you are my one and only
I'll never let you feel lonely
No matter how far we are
You'll always be my star

The only one bright enough
To light up my everyday
Every second of my life
I hope you always stay
