You have to be there to understand the scene.

This I believe is a balanced minimal, a bit of sparkle, color and positive thinking.

A political statement?  Holly cow, did I just get over my skis?

This says it all

I originally wrote this in 1999 as "birtheartbeat" as one heart beat without the "s".  As I typed it here in "hello poetry",  I realized that there can be two or more heartbeats.

A bit of sunshine would do a world of good.

At times life is always this type of pressure.

A bit of Issa, a bit of me,  combined

With more women working, this situation may be checkmated.

Just jesting.

Just jesting, I was always certain.

I did not think that my concept of the semicircle would work with the software of Hello Poetry, but this art word form was never thought of when this media was introduced.

This happens quite often, sometimes not by chance.

And that is what it was, a chance encounter

It actually happened as I depicted it.

As opposed to horse sense, the horses are more sensible.

And they did 58 years ago for me, and still say yes.

Not sure if the eyes say no.

Children's game presently played  - necessary when you are led by children instead of adults.

Am I now an optimist? Yesterday I was 40. or was I 39?

Always making that attempt to help others in the voyage ahead.

Why isn't there more sharing in a world that has so much to share?

I guess I always wanted to follow Nicholas Virgilio in his love for this flower.

The obvious, but somehow we may miss what stares us in the face. I wrote this many, many years ago and looking at it at first, was as confusing as the message may be.

Some minimal haiku are constructed to hide the middle word so that three words conceals the middle word.  But this is what Bach did, create a unique order of chords which become the melody as well.   Just a note about music today, you can copyright melodies but you cannot   copyright chords.

You are what you eat. But if you do, try the plain yogurt, low fat. It has a lot less calories.

Written September 20, 1991 -  hello poetry allows me the freedom to let all of you see, think about, approve, disapprove , make comments and/or move on.
For me, Hello Poetry is like an "Open Stage,"  and I am able to be there 24/7.   Part of me is out there and that makes my day.

The real tragedy lies in the damage to the USA status in the world. I am deeply ashamed of the people who defend and support this uneducated animal.

"hiddenemyself, " my original poem was written in the 90's.  "unseen" is so slightly different than "hidden," but there is a difference which I will think about tonight and tomorrow.  There is another question which changes the name, depending where you put the comma.

"Unseen" replaces hidden, but easily a synonym fitting my thought about guns.   This was originally published in Modern Haiku.

I have a very strong feeling about the word "hidden." One of my minimals using this word for the first time was "hiddenemyself." The second time I used it was in the combination with the word "chi" and led to "chiddenergy."   This word keeps reappearing in my mind, morphing into new minimals. I know that I will be using it again.
