Why This?

Why this love
Causes so much pain
Why this love
Makes me lose, what I gained

Why you shut me off
In such a way
Why you shut me off
Just cause of today

Why are you running away
From me like this
Why are you running away
You know how much I miss

Why hurt me and hurt yourself
With a promise and a lie
Why hurt me and hurt yourself
And wave me a final goodbye

Why have you come back
In search of me today
Why have you come back
When you finally went away

Can you answer my WHYS?
Without your dramatic LIES!

Sometimes
It is the burden of friendship
Between the two
That crushes their love
For each other
Don't We all
validate different answers
For the same questions?

I want to be
the honey bee
that sings and hovers..

I want to be
the little bird
Flying freely in the sky..

I want to be
the little lamb
Tasting the new shoots..

I want to be
the magnificent lion
That is calm and at peace.

I want to be
the stream in a brook
That giggles down the *****.

I want to be
the weight less clouds
That drifts way in the winds..

I want to be
the little ant
which is focused and mature..

I want to be
the splitting lightning
which cuts the air with a thunder..

I want to be
the loud thunder
that brings the hope to farmers..

I want to be
the lashing rain
That washes away my tears.

I want to be
the merciless slayer
of the mean, the corrupt and the bad.

I want to be
the laughing Buddha
To come to peace with me.
Various contradicting phases of me, the things I like and cherish at some points of time.  May be a nonsense poem, but with lot of sense to myself.

i think my best friend
is dead

no joke
no lie
i think she has died

we haven't talked in
5 years
and i miss her like you miss
sleeping
after you've been up all day

like you miss seeing
while your eyes are closed

like you miss smiling
when you're sad out of your mind

i miss her like you miss
your best friend
who has gone

i miss her like
the other half

of me
I just needed to talk about this

There once was a young girl, shy
And pretty, but unaware of her grace.
On late summer days she gazed up to the sky,
Trying to slow down worlds enormous pace.

She understood there was more outside,
than poppy fields and hazy clouds,
while most people blindly joined life's crazy ride,
she resolved to walk without the crowd.

On her untapped path she spotted a flower,
blue and lovely as she has never seen it before.
For flowers blooming in unexpected places she swore,
are the most beautiful ones holding the greatest power.
To all who are brave enough to take the untapped paths in life and be themselves

rose
Fall rested her head on Summer
So she could stay warm for a bit longer

I know I already wrote a poem about the warm weather but it's so nice and this just popped into my mind

I awoke
with mountains in their heights
that spoke
of memories that wove
through knees
thighs
and ***** bone --
to the inky waters of the lake below.

In that cabin
where the sable pines enclose
and all about
from coral-white
to grayish
turquoise-blue
snow.

That scene:
on the edge
where the stillness
Knows.
Written because it was inspired by Daisy Clarke's painting, a friend, of a mountain cabin scene surrounded by a lake.
