Lying embedded in velvet gloom and night,
You and I are gazing up the northern hemisphere.
Within the sea of darkness is the stars' stained light.

Hidden inside the fabric of interstellar space,
Might be a kind of universal truth
That answers all the questions of human race.

Sensing the pull of the universe
I feel like we're lost between the infinite vastness
That none of us could ever dream to traverse.

Suddenly you get up on your knees -
Head in the sky and feet on the ground.
“Perhaps the stars only made us feel lost,
because we both wanted to be found.”
Maybe we all are just waiting to be found:)

I once knew a girl
and she lived in your eyes …
She could see green, greener grass and blue, bluer skies.

I once knew girl
and my soul adored her so …
But tell me now where, just where did she go?

I once knew a girl
and her voice, so proud …
All at once like thunder and soft, softest cloud.

I once knew a girl
and her light, it shined like the sun …
She reveled in challenge and she took every one.

I once knew a girl
and my belief in her was beyond …
But tell me now where, well where has she gone?

I once knew a girl
and her brio, it was just so extreme …
Her dances were made of joyous joy and her smiles ...
of pure, purist dreams.

I once knew a girl
and her laughter, it could easily stop a war …
Her conversations so engaging and her appreciation galore.

I once knew a girl
and her heart so brave, it was always showing through …
But somehow, I can't see it now and that's why I'm asking you.

I miss that girl
that once lived in your eyes.
So please, I just need to know …
That girl  …
was so very precious to me …
Tell me now …
Where, where did she go?
It is so sad to see someone change and then have to ponder whether this was them becoming someone else ... or if they were somehow fooling you all along and that now, you are seeing the real them for the first time.

Sometimes you have no reason to stay,
and realize that's a perfect reason to go.
And that taking an entirely new way,
is the only method to grow.

If your washed-on abeyance's bight,
and you feel decision's heavy heft:
To go to the left where nothing's right,
or the right where nothing's left.

Remember it doesn't matter where you proceed,
or which mountain you want to ascend.
It does not matter whether you succeed,
it is the journey that matters in the end.

The gleaming moonshine on your hair,
fragmented star splitters in your eye,
your smile repainting supernova's glare
appoint you the ruler of my sky.
Experimenting with shorter lines :)
