Your  Smile is the Magnet that draws me to You

I want to go
Where there's rainbows and butterflies
Bunny rabbits and kittens
Where the sun is always shining
Warm and breezy, no need for mittens
Horses run free
Sandy beaches for miles
Not a day would go by
without a big smile
No one to judge me
Peace and serenity surround
Like a soft fluffy blanket
Keeping me safe and sound
Mountains and waterfalls
Beautiful trees
I pray for these things
As I drop to my knees

A festive time
we share
Slowly now
the light shall return

The Winter Solstice
is upon us

From one
who always goes
left instead of right

May joy and happiness
find you
as the light
slowly returns

May the gentle
touch of Eirene
live within your soul
Easing
any weariness
that has taken its toll

Not only for today
but for all the
days that follow

Happy Holidays everyone

May this 1st day of Winter
find you wrapped
in warmth
Leaving strife
on the outside
While you are
toasting and celebrating life

I did not notice a smile
I did not feel a tear of happiness upon my cheek,
so I did not smile back.
I thought the eve' was ruined,
        until you grabbed my thing,
and pulled me down on top of you.
        It tickled me. Then.

I am a very devoted guy
who never tell a lie
a conditional character,
very optimistic,
almost an illiterate,
but self literate and barefooted-
I have nothing
and none for me
except my pen and paper,
with you and my Hello Poetry-

You are a ridiculous woman
who makes me ponder the most...
innocuous of sentences for... anything
that might betray a semblance of something
deep beneath your simple surface.
I shouldn't like you.
At least I don't know why I do,
and there are so many reasons too.

Your freckles and chromatic shifting eyes,
telling me lies, I swear to you they are green...
Your voice and that smile with a dot to your lips
and the way you look to the world, wide open
yet

so brilliantly concealed.

The wisps of your hair, escaping from their tie
and how ***** your hands are, I know the creases
by sight; even those covered by paint.

Yet I have not felt them, clasped them in mine...
How fragile are you? You could break at my touch,
or run in fear at my boorishness.
You, such a beautiful flower, give me nothing but questions,
how can I pick you without plucking your stem,
Should I bring you water, do I block your sun?
I do not speak Flower...

So yet you elude me, without ever having moved.
While I fight to find the face past the flowers.
To find the heart of you,
the part of you that draws me in.
The reason that I like you.

I forgot what it’s like to be up in the clouds,
to breach the haze and see how the sky
makes the Sun feel at home.
I forgot how from my window seat
there’s a movie out there, an ocean
of difference between us that’s not
so different at all.
Today we defy gravity.
What movie will we see tomorrow?
Will it be like this, one we never tire of?
One we can watch over and over again.

My life I owe to all of you
You've kept me alive
Were my strength for so long
Were the bright side of life

This peace I've achieve thanks to you
You kept the sinister thoughts at bay
You each gave me hope
And were the light at the of the tunnel

This victory over the war inside me
Won because you each stood by my side
All of you kept me latched to humanity
You became my family
Our chains of friendship forged

These thanks I give, they're for you
You kept me from fully shattering
Mending falling pieces
Became the definition of my life
The rainbow after the hurricane

Christmas is traditions
some last and others die
some leave you feeling fuzzy
others leave you asking "Why?"
There's rules that must be followed
And most of them we know
About gifts and cards and Christmas trees
and then there's mistletoe....

We all know the tradition
We all know what it is
You meet under the berries
And then you both must kiss
But, there's etiquette surrounding
The dreaded mistletoe
And there are things you aren't aware of
And I thought you all should know....

Always kiss your Aunties
Do it quick and on the cheek
Their lips are full of slobber
and sometimes they just reek

Grandmas, get a quick kiss
And ignore the sounds they make
Don't hug Grannies too tightly
They are brittle and might break

Avoid the pervert Uncles
With hands and eyes that roam
They act one way at Christmas
And another way at home

The little kids, won't kiss you
So, it's fun to give them chase
Make sure there's lots of slobber
So, they can wipe it off their face

Make sure kissing Grandad
That he has got his teeth
That they're not somewhere  in a glass
or worse, smiling from a wreath

Always kiss your Mum though
Beware, Mums will always cry
and they will get you going too
No matter how hard you try

Kiss the one you came with
Let them know just how you feel
That your love for them's eternal
And your love for them is real

Kissing is tradition
and at Christmas can be great
But, don't kiss all the women
And forget about your date

The most important rule of all
If you don't want your bell rung
When kissing 'neath the mistletoe
DO NOT USE THE TONGUE

The stars glare at me
As I lie awake on my bed,
Imagining constellations on my ceiling
Truth be told,
I imagine I am gazing up at them,
But they are too stubborn
They wouldn't listen if I told them

Their twinkle in the night sky
Looked like a sparkling waterfall
Their loyalty to the night
Is unrivaled in the universe
Their blazing bodies
Bring light in the darkness
Their presence every night
Gives me ease and I sleep well

Nibbling on the corner of
A fluffy planetary nebula,
Swimming with a cluster
Of dreaming asteroids
I imagine all these things
Happening above my head
Among the stars is where I belong, because I always find my mind traveling there.

The mystery of life
can't be forgotten by you
You belong to love but hundreds of kisses
belonging to you
Every direction you choose
to walk on
is filled with empty spaces
of your life
lead you to nowhere
but to invincible nights
which, you find, are
full of exchangeable true–lies
Lies? Yet, you ain't know..
what you're going through
but winning edge of your love
takes you to underneath the sky, blue
If you blow your love
to life,
your life brings you
true-love with cloudy snow
Love's already done!
Don't make it “to—do”
You ain't know what a heart's 'bout
but the heart's aware of your every new
move you take to put
the life on hue
Like an evening is mad at dusk,
you too seem crazy 'bout the shades of dew
And... with the end of the night
The mystery of life
gets forgotten by you
Every new day looks shorter than before
cause, the love's too wandering with... in you.
