The Judge Aug 2016
Someday the sun will stop shining.
Someday the oceans will be polluted.
Someday humanity will be pushed to the brink of extinction.
Someday Earth itself will cease to exist.
But that doesn't mean all hope will be lost.
Find a new sun,
Find a new ocean,
Find a new planet.
These are things I know humanity will do.
Why?
Because Humanity likes to look at Fate and laugh,
Humanity can overcome any challenge.
Yes, Humanity hates each other.
And I know there will never be a true day where we don't hate another human being.
But when Humanity is challenged by death.
We will band together,
and we will rise to the stars.

Time is like a wave
In the ocean of life.
We ride upon it
Carrying memories of strife.

We are but a leaf,
Floating on time.
We carry the taste
Of a sweet lime.

Space is but an ocean,
Holding everything in it.
It's voice unheard
Unless it throws a fit.

The night falls on the light,
Destroying everything once safe.
Don't go outside for it's dangerous.
Only fools go out this late.

But light will return
and destroy the evil shroud.
It will get rid of
this overhanging cloud.

Light will overpower the dark
only for the same to happen to it.
Now please remember that light
is but a torch thats been lit.

Sometimes you have to let the tears flow,
Other times you have to let your feelings drown.
Because even planets wish to glow
like the stars who wear their crowns.

When the feelings become to much,
and you just want to die.
You need to throw away that crutch,
and stop wanting to fly.

There are times you don't want to feel at all
and you just want to be one with nothing.
Those are the times you stand tall
and make yourself feel something.

Those who want to play god,
will get punished like one.
Look at all those dictators who tried,
and the wars they haven't won.

Those who want to play Satan,
will get punished like him.
And trust me I know,
that you're punishment will be grim.

Those who want to play human,
will live like one of our race.
And the universe will teach you that
you will need to know your place.

The bite of a cobra
will not **** me.
The lightning has yet
to set fire to that tree.

The ocean has yet
to drown my frail soul.
The ball has not
been kicked into the goal.

The sun still has
yet to shine
onto this impure
soul of mine.

Time is like a burning fire,
covering everything in it's heat.
But when it finally burns out,
a cruel demise most will meet.
