the dusk kissed the dawn goodbye,
glittering moon, sparkling stars,
bursts of gold melting on the lilac sky,
streaks of amber, as the shimmering sun rose

I'll follow you through the galaxy
into black holes, around moons, through seas
but will you follow me to a new atmosphere?
It's a planet that's so far from here.

Am I exceptional enough to capture your attention
if I am will this feature last long enough
for us to be known as star and moon for life?
If you follow me, I'll follow you.

Carry me away on your
Silent moon beams
That grace the night skies
With gentle visions of peace.

Help me to drift away on
Nights so silent
Filled with dreams to come
And tears of things gone astray.

Wrap me up within the
Night skies somber embrace.
A lullaby of thoughts
Waiting to be dreamt or felt my the few

Let my words reveal the hidden mysteries of the earth
And let my wrists bleed pure life like they never glanced at death
Let my tears be a river pouring joy; and let me flood the world
Oh, let the world torture me, let it burn me to ashes
Let me taste the apple, even if it's rotten
Let me go to eden, and let me meet the devil too
Let me belong
Just for a moment
Even if it's just for a moment.

she is
the chill swept over
frail skin—

held dear to the summer,

the thrashing
of warm raindrops
and sand

known only to the bare—

warm throughout,
but the chill still
tickles her skin

while her blood simmers.
kinda all over the place but i wanna work on putting feelings on the page more so this is my first step

they keep running out like roll film before me
pictures clicking away faster than i can see
never repeating old faces flashing by
who are you? perhaps seen once in a lullaby
projector is strangely static - the cartridge drops
still it’s going and it’s going and it never stops
nothing! nothing but it’s all over my fingertips
smudged on my forehead and dripping from my lips
i cannot perceive these silverscreens
tangible airs or figments of my dreams
going and going until it tears and rips
nothing! endless nothings all over my fingertips
