Is there any buddy out there?

Am I the only one?

Could this be the end?

Is this site said and done?

Shall I post 1 million words and read them to myself

Shall I write 1 million poems and place them on a shelf

Within the womb
With in the mother
Have I yet to discover
Light beyond the darkness
Forcing me to breathe
Is there anybody out there
Or am I all alone
Life is but a dream
We cannot control
........

I don’t smoke
Too many people I know have died due to it
Too many heartbreaks, too many mistakes.

But if I did
I’d light you on fire and breathe you in
Inhaling your smoky scent, like woodburning
Until my lungs were coated with your ashes.

No chance of lung cancer
But maybe a chance of obsession
A dangerous obsession
An unhealthy obsession.

And I’d watch the tips of you slowly burn
Until my fingers were in danger of blistering
And you could feel the heat from my face.

You are a dangerous habit.

I'VE been crying

JUST quit hurting

TRIED to live on

TO you

FORGET the hurt

i've just tried to forget
There's a peculiar kind of beauty that can only be experienced
with the innate knowledge that the moment is fleeting
and the most intense beauty can only be seen in
the presence of both light and shadows.
For it’s often in the loss of a thing
that its worth to us becomes
most precious and by
letting it go with
grace we can
best savor
its purest
delights.
Realizing
that the pain
runs so deep only
because the beauty ran
so deep and that without
it having once touched us we
wouldn't now know the emptiness
of its loss, our grief will eventually turn to
thankfulness that it ever touched us at all, and
we will be left awed by the mystery of its haunting.

Remember,

Each end had a beginning

And Every beginning will end.
It starts with a soft hand shake and mostly end with swollen eyes.

when your sun rises
mine sets
when you wake up
i fall asleep

but i'll watch my moon
as if it were your sun
so that i can tell you
you deserve the world

even if we're on
opposite sides of it
good morning, land of unbearable rain.

i dreamt of you once again-
i wish i had not woken up.
A thousand nights I would wait for you.
The one, I seek through you.
From him I ask for you.

Patience he says the dawn is near.
Oh lovers, for now, patience your prayer.
Patience he says, till dawn is here.
Every soul has a soulmate written by God.

When I kissed you,
The world imploded,
But we were left untouched.

When I kissed you,
I was drifting,
Through the galaxies in your eyes.

When I kissed you,
My heartbeat intertwined with yours,
The way our hands did,
In your car,
On the way home.

When I kissed you,
It didn't matter that anyone could see us,
We are untouchable,
And infinite,
And endless.

I get it now,
This is love.
This is about my first kiss with my girlfriend. I'm so in love with her, and I think this poem describes it perfectly!
